The smartest thing both of them have done is not fuck it up by making changes for the sake of change alone. The last thing most pokemon fans want is some kind of pokemon equivalent of Metroid: Other M, Master of Orion 3 or Civ V where the devs just go full retard and fuck everything up.

They're giving them out 4 hours before SunMoon launches, so I think they want them to be transferred. Anyways, Mew is already banned in everything except free battles, which were already overrun with hacked mon.
How do you figure? The last gen where Machoke learns Fissure is Gen II and you can't transfer up from Gen II to Gen III. That's why Gen I pokemon being transferable to Gen VII is a big deal. It opens up new movesets.

This generation is really focused around bringing people back. I mean, VCG is going to be really interesting, with new metas like poison being able to go on steel and poison type, self-destruct abilities, more trick-room-esque moves, Z-Moves.

Then you let CFW do its work without re-downloading the game. Which will let you unlock the encrypted game, depending on each perspective version.
