How do we (or you) fix it, Holla Forums? Further at the very least. I've had this thread before but I've been meaning to add more information to it. I'm looking for the various Interviews with the producers/directors, where they laugh at/brush off the questions about difficulty, content from the older games, and lastly, the battle frontier. I've said this before, the reason the newer Pokemon designs aren't as artistically pleasing, is due to the streamlining and major simplification, not what they are being based on. That being said, the reason this has happened, is due to it most likely being a business decision. They want to have something that's easily marketable and animated quickly, detail has decreased but cosmetic accessories have increased heavily, as always, this isn't always a bad thing, some Pokémon simply look better with it! SOME.
I'm really glad they brought back the Pre-Order bonuses, along with Red/Green, among other characters in SM as well. I'm unsure how they will do due in the long run due to X/Y having an ENTIRELY NEW Pokémon timeline, not to mention, the devs and crew are actually entirely NEW people working on this game, there are some veterans, sure, but everyone who's worked on Pokémon way back in Emerald/DP/P has been replaced for the most part.
Personally, I don't favor it, or the story that comes along with it. It might be due to the piss poor execution of XYORAS though, so I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm positive the new games will fix it up twofold. We've seen Emma back, and it appears she and the new character, Gladion, would have been subjects of experimentation of some sort, It may link with the ultra beasts.

Here are the designers for Pokémon SAGE, made from a completely different group of people, who have no relationship to Nintendo/Gamefreak.

It goes to show, that even if a design is simple, it can still be marketable, while having the design be artistically accurate.
