People playing support in a five man group literally couldn't play with their friends after the placements, because their ratings were too low.

The players who picked support ended up with a shitload less rating than the other members of the team so if they continued playing together in the same roles, the difference would end up in such a spot that it would be impossible for them to que. They alleviated it a bit by increasing the limit but the issue itself is still there.

The only reliable counter I've found for the good ol' "dash up to skybox and ult" strat is a makoa shield, even then it evicerates his shield in the progress.

He's a complete sitting duck while doing that, completely unable to use his shield. I've killed andros all too often during their ult because of that. Not to mention, the dashing to the skybox is extremely telegraphed and you can just seek cover while he's at it.

I think if anyone was expecting Paladins to maintain a serious or in-universe artstyle should have known better.

That is why Paladins should be interesting on the long term. Since its a completely new IP where the characters are simple and organic they're can go full retard with skins. Smite is at the point their is probably a skin for every god you'd like to use.

Whoring skins = big money maker so the gameplay doesn't get restricted/made pay to win. Voice packs also add an amount since the amount of vocal crap in game.

I'm definitely interested in seeing what they do with it. Hopefully they won't go full retard (see: Vamana asian rapper skin,) but something relatively light-hearted like the recent Pumpking skin is fine. The game's entire setup pretty much screams "this is not serious business" so I expect say, robot versions of probably the whole cast, but hopefully they won't just give everyone a tophat head and call it a day.

I'm really starting to hate this game. Every match is either a complete stomp or you're getting fucked. I've had a single, even, close matched in terms of skill game in 50 hours of play. I had to play fernando of course because if i didn't we would've been fucked.

Last match i raged for a solid 10 minutes on our kinessa, who didn't use mines, who wasn't shooting drogoz while he was flying and she couldn't cover for shit, and was getting killed by a flanking viktor non stop. I called her out on her bullshit and declared we were playing a 3v5 game because she was that bad.

Then our cassie goes "it's 4v5 cuz ur bad", at which point i refused to play any longer and threw the game. I reported them all and i've probably been reported too for how many times i've called them faggots.

The players are such cancer that i've become the cancer. Sorry for the blogpost.

Makoa and Barick are also viable, Fernando is simply the best because of being mobile as fuck while having a large enough shield to that almost covers the entirety of a choke-point. Plus his shield being the only one that actually absorbs damage from AoE attacks like Viktors ult while Makoa and Barick get damaged through it. Ruckus is the only frontline that's utter shit but people still play him over the others because MUH BASTION

Have you guys ever played with a bomb king who doesn't know how to detonate his bombs? The round was 18 minutes long. Also didn't use a single poppy or grumpy bomb. All his damage was from his ultimates and m1.

Ruckus is an excellent off tank, being front line doesn't necessarely mean absorbing a shitload of damage. He pretty much rapes shields and can keep most damages and flanks at a distance, but only IF there's also another tank shielding him and distracting enemies.

I think he's better than a damage 90% of the time when paired with another tank.

I think only this month, they're gonna pull it end of november. It's kind of impossible to predict if it's going to be available next halloween too, but i doubt it as who knows how many champions they'll release and how many skins they'll make for them, so if you really like it buy it now.

There some jew box upcoming in the next patch that contains all the skins, even the exlusive ones, but i'm not sure you can get it from there.

hes great for flushing people out who are trying to get your 'main' fatty off the point and creating an opportunity for flankers to do their job if theyre half competent. you could probably say the same about makoa though, but makoa is never going to get fernando to drop his shield so there is a bit of a tradeoff there.
i wish he didnt have a skill tied to the objective though, because often taking that supression role means going a bit of a ways off of the point or cart. which also means hes not earning optimal cash.

Hi-Rez has an IP they can do basically anything they want with. It's a F2P class-based shooter you can buy cosmetics for, so it'll print money as long as they don't fuck up the gameplay too badly. There's a website called Glassdoor which has reviews for Hi-Rez, which looks to be mixed. There's a pattern of people negatively reviewing the company because of the CEO and/or apparently sexism/misogyny. Whatever is said about Hi-Rez, only you can make the best judgement.

I've been playing her here and there. She doesn't seem as insane as Evie or Androxus when it comes to carry potential but she can really fuck with people, distracting/poisoning enemies during a teamfight, picking off low-health enemies that would have escaped, etc. I don't get spectacular scores/PotG with her, but I usually still get the most solo kills, and I feel like I'm rustling the enemy's backline pretty effectively

She is fun and sometimes effective but not as spectacular as the other flanks, basically. Also for added effectiveness, press B after solo killing idiots to tilt them off their game

No wonder their games are a fucking mess. That kind of workplace attitude kills any investment your team has in making good shit.

The only other dev team in Georgia is Tripwire, who is more accepting of such people, so you know that if they wanted to continue being game developers, that they really must've had a chip on their shoulders, or an opportunity to work across the nation arose for them if they were able to leave and submit such reviews. All that said, there are at least some reviews that have nothing to do with alleged sexism or internal politics, which still leaves the possibility of the CEO and higher ups not being so great to work with an open one.

Hi-rez seem to be doing fine, Smite made them hundreds of millions of dollars and is still going strong and Paladins is third most played f2p game on steam at the moment, just behind waifu dress up and hat trading simulators.
Whatever that guy is doing seems to be working nicely.

You and the people that you have seen playing him are shit.

He is a great character and used in comp as main healer when Ying is taken and when going Ghrok is a bad idea because of synergy with the characters on the field (both teams).

The best support is Ying for obvious reasons, 800HPS without being on danger and autoaim.
Ghrok has the best healing because of his max %HP healing since the number is bugged and it's actually ten times bigger than what the card says however if you are not rocking a Fernando or at least two tanks with him he's not as good, neither is a good idea to go Ghrok when there's BK/Drogoz on the enemy team that will destroy the totem instantly.

Pip is not a main support but a game changer character, he is therefore not counting as main healer.
Grover is complete and utter shit because of his xboxhueg hitbox, ultimate that makes him not be able to do anything besides move, a vine that requires buildings, healing that is at melee range so you need to spend yes or yes 4 points on healing range and shit damage up close hence the anti combo of being close to heal. The only great thing from Grover is his cripple. In a real match Grover has less healing than Pip when taken into account cauterize.

No, and you can't really do that anyway. The most reload speed you can get from your card deck is 20%; you can't not spend cards on other things. That said, I find that getting 20% from your cards and picking up a single early level of Deft Hands is certainly worth it if you're able to land the snek. Just don't neglect Chronos and Haven/Shields.

There is a really situational card loadout for max reload speed and deft hands, which are not going to happen in competitive. However it is good to consider it.

Too expensive for such little CD reduction. Nimble is a better choice for extra cancer, however, forget about utility altogether, rush Shield and what your team needs Wrecker/Caut/DefHands.
When you have red and blue maxed or nearly maxed, go something on green like Kill to heal or rejuvenate, depends on how the match is going (if they wont let you breathe, Kill to Heal, if you are winning and / or can get away and breathe a bit, rejuvenation).

i hardly even have the luxury of grabbing chronos, almost everyone that could benefit from it have cards to reduce important cooldowns anyways. pretty much the only time i grab it is on makoa, i would like to get it on fernando but it doesnt seem to interact properly with fernandos shield cooldown.

I dunno about his shield cooldown, but it stacks additively with Fernando's Incinerate card. You get 40% cooldown reduction from max Incinerate + 30% cooldown reduction from max chronos = 70% cooldown reduction, for a 3 second Fireball cooldown.

His main weapon is great, especially with deft hands, one point of healing rain pretty much resurrects entire team from the verge of death, can get multi kills with the bouncy ball spell and there were several times when enemy Skye did "times ticking :DDDD" as we were about to push only for me to ghost walk explosion and murder her ass and push alone to the end?

How many comp games have you played? I've seen few to no skyes in comp, grohk just doesn't seem that good to me I see a lot more grovers than grohks but I've never played it just never had much trouble killing him (ying and damba can be a pain in the ass, ghost walk is meh).

So, can someone explain why Sha Lin exists to me? He does barely more damage than Cassie, with a slower fire rate, dropoff, and slower arrows the poor gook can't even fucking headshot. His Q is a shit ability, that while doing a lot of damage just gets you assblasted as soon as you use it, since you have two fucking thousand health and can't move during it. The escape ability is pretty decent actually, but the ultimate is just shit, since there are so many characters with a shitload of AOE damage, and Viktor can still barrage you while you're invisible.

They wanted to have a hanzo equivalent for the overwatch kidddies.

You can shoot for longer if you never reload(less downtime), and you can spend your credits on actual stuff that'll make you survive longer to shoot more. Or cauterize, because fuck heals. At cauterize 3, one use of a 1000 healing becomes 100, so it's the equivalent of doing extra 900 damage.

i can understand fatter hitboxes for some projectiles, but these arrows seem the same as the slower shit like evie or drogozs weapons. cassie can nail people pretty consistently even if they have a few speed upgrades, but evie drogoz or bomb king are nearly neutralized by it.

What the fuck is wrong with the retards who play this shitty game? Why would you see that we have a sniper already picked and go to pick the other sniper? Why would you see that we already have two snipers and pick the Jackie Chan sniper? We have three damage characters and no damage between the three of them because they can't aim. Nobody is pushing the point. I pick tank because why not, I don't know how the fuck to balance out this team comp, and I just get fucking destroyed the second I step out into the open because the entire enemy team is standing directly on the point because nobody is killing them. Do you want to know why that is? It's because we have three snipers in the game now and they all suck ass and the fucking subhuman apes who play this shitty game couldn't aim if they had a gun held up to their head. I don't even know where the rest of my team is most of the time. They aren't capturing the point and they aren't killing enemies so what the fuck are they doing? Oh, that's right. i stopped caring about people picking shitty team composition. chances are they were going to suck either way. sure it would be nice if they could suck as fernando on the point with his shield up but the game is going to boil down to how disorganized i can keep their team and how dead i can keep their best players no matter what anyone else on my team does.

Most of the time people are playing this game as team death match and despite the game telling them in voice to stop the payload or capture the point they just run around trying to get that K/D ratio, and even when you call out someone at the end of the match for sucking dogshit they straight up go, "3 eliminations, pshh, stop talking to me pleb", despite the fact that you're playing as fucking Ying and you aren't supposed to kill people a lot, you're supposed to heal the retards that should be standing on point or around it and not going around trying to be le epic murder machines.
