There's a trend with the current btc acceptance as a currency though, lack of sales tax. There's plenty of way this can go wrong especially when dealing with a government denied its taxes. If all they slap on it is a general sales tax for business based transaction of btc and a capital gains tax when converting from btc to fiat, the situation might still be salvageable. If instead the government decides to treat btc as a commodity based investment as slap the usual property based taxes on it, you'll see a lot of whales who declared their wallets go broke as they fail to cough up the dough to pay their "title tax" and government action to seize the btc when accounting is wrong by even one bit. Make no mistake, the current government mood for BTC is amiable at best, but if businesses continue shunting existing taxes to increase their bottom line with BTC, the government will take action sooner than later.
