By now if you follow the Q threads you've heard about the "TPW P4 14 NB"
Yes, they do have the ONLY mass produced CPUs with no hardcoded backdoors, after the Pentium 1. The bitcoin mining meme about them in 2016 was a cover story invented by some anons who wanted to explain why they were trying to find these laptops.
Now people are using them for the private Q discussion channels, and stupid richfags are paying shady grey market sellers for them.
So if you want to operate a FCC illegal system that can't be backdoored by the NSA in order to read and shitpost in your colourful larps, go ahead and drop five thousand dollars on a Pentium 4 that barely runs windows 7.
Oh and by the way these were never officially de-militarized, they were made on military contract, they aren't for civilian use, and owning one is a illegal. A few hundred made their way into the grey market system by accident when some national guard bases sold their old computers through GovtLiquidation.
Back in 2016 the Google results for these were filled with weird results and gibberish, now it isn't as crazy. That's because anyone you're trying to avoid in the "cabal" already knows that the secret is out and they'll just track you down when you buy one.
When we establish our ethnostate, one of our top priorities needs to be the development of non-botnet hardware.
Daniel Cooper
I'm just trying to protect you guys from making a huge mistake
Imagine how stupid you'll feel sitting in jail knowing it was all because you spent your parent's money on a toy for Larping

So what if they were built for the government? If they put it up for sale and you buy it that's their problem. They aren't weapons (or ammunition like encryption was), they can't be illegal.

Just like when they (((accidentally))) sell NASA artifacts that belong to the people of this nation to individuals. They can't do shit because they established the precedent.

Daily reminder to report and hide LARP threads
Liam Lee
I wouldn't judge this as bullshit prematurely. Google and Yandex both turn up next to nothing for results when you search the query "TPW P4 14 NB". Bing is another case. Most of what is turned up is imageboard threads.
Dominic Carter
Why do you give a fuck tbqh?
Michael Lopez

BULLSHIT
This thread needs to be pruned.
Xavier Carter
That seems like a lot of effort to be racist on the internet & beat off to horse porn tbqhwy.
Kayden Smith
P4 is in the name. It's probably something like one of these. Just going by the name I would guess it's a 1.4GHz Pentium 4.
Lucas Murphy
Admittedly, I don’t know anything about computers. I searched Pentium 4 on Craigslist after inferring it from and the OP, just in DFW there is 44 results, some IBM laptops and others OC’s from the early 2000’s it looks like.
Angel Bell
Fugg I meant PC’s
Luke Torres
If you're going to drop 4 digits on a computer, wait for that POWER9 board. I have a hard time believing that TPW laptop really is free of backdoors. Maybe intentional ones. Promoting the development of microcode-free CPUs seems like a better use of money than a computer that's too obscure to even source parts for once it breaks.
John Jones
This is 100% just LARPers, OK? There's zero technical basis here.
For example, by that time all Pentium computers were Tempest-tuned (basically, it's possible to correlate a computer with online posts, using "special collections" (Read: NSA van or suitcase or handheld device, possibly smaller now, watch models doubtless available)).
Jaxson Flores
That is a generic compaq with a sticker. I've tossed away tons of those.
Who cares if your cpu isn't backdoored when your whole driver network stack is.
What, precisely, is the claim, about P4? All P4? and why? Which revisions? There's zero technical basis to this claim.
Ryder Wilson
And another point. The fact that shit old laptops can have super high prices on them means nothing. Tons of stupid old shit has a really high price on it, and will never get sold.
Gabriel Murphy
Actually, 2.0GHz may be accurate as well since this says 2.0GHz to 2.4GHz and up. archive.is/NCcwc Looks like the exact specs are something that can be tailored depending on who's ordering them.
The rumor is that older CPU's like this are not backdoored like today's are with things like Intel's management engine (a proprietary fork of Minix) and therefore more secure against attack and better for people with a greater need for security. People heavily invested in cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, for example. I can't seem to substantiate any of this either, which is why I'm lurking and posting what I do manage to dig up. This could very well be nothing, but it's interesting nonetheless. Supposedly, early 2000's is when hardware started to become backdoored and anything slightly, moderately powerful dating up to and just before that time may have some value.
Parker Smith
Does the P4 even have microcode? Management engine and away mode are obvious backdoors, but what makes this P4 special among pre-2007 computers?
Holla Forums by itself with scripts enabled would melt that thing into a glass slug.
Ethan Wood
So, in other words, what is most probable is that the P3 was then the safe ones, and the P4 was the beginning of the unsafe ones, and these are shills.
Ian Wood
The P3 has processor serial numbers, but that doesn't mean anything when you can find P3s with FREE signs at the end of people's driveways.
Colton Campbell
Clickbait rubbish.
"This" and "these" and other variants should be banned thread titles.
Noah Gomez
Everything has serial numbers.
We won't be free until we can make our own CPU.
Kayden White
Looks like the not yet released Talos boards are the best hope so far. You might get some security through obscurity if you feel like paying $800-2000 for one of those ridiculous FPGA Amigas from Europe.
Connor Ross
Interesting.
But we wait, for something not shit, and real.
Wyatt Roberts
Amiga OS 4 has a Faggotfox port. It's shit and expensive but probably still more usable than a P4 laptop with a 16MB Rage Pro. P4 probably isn't intentionally highly compromised either though. If I'm remembering right, it's a P3 with more pipeline like Apple did with the PowerPC 7400s to bump up the frequency at the expense of actual speed.
Lucas Jenkins
It WILL happen. We will get free. But it's not here yet. There's no reason to overpay for this stupid old shit. It's coming. It will be slow, but it will also be cheap.
Asher Reed
For the past decade I've just been collecting any garbage people will give me and making it into computers. I don't need fast, because I don't play Call of Duty: You Should Feel Bad About Things That Happened 100 Years Ago Edition. My cobbled together toaster is enough for the awful modern web with enough cycles left over to play my Nintendo games good. If you're looking for a point where the real fuckery started, my best guess would be Centrino. All Intel peripherals in the laptop interacting with the motherboard to a greater degree. At that point it was claimed to be for managing power requirements. ME isn't a huge leap from that point though. On that note, I've seen a claim that you can hobble ME's worst potential by disabling onboard ethernet and using a non-Intel ethernet expansion card.
Isaac Hall
Interesting stuff. I've mostly chucked stuff. I feel there are way too many goddamn unknowns. It suffices to know that Russia makes its own shit computers (and, obviously, they cannot be trusted).
We await the CPU messiah.

Removing any built-in microphone or camera from laptops is a must. The camera's usually just a little board in the screen panel connected by USB. The microphone can be anywhere but you can just rip it out without consequences. Or you could just cover them with tape like Mark "My Wife Is Asian" Zuckerberg. The problems with software backdoors are far worse though. Whitelisting web scripts helps a lot. Even in Windows. I've been thinking about Intel Macs. Apple is a PRISM participant, but sometimes I wonder if Mac OS is even developed enough to report any meaningful data on the user. Not that they have any measure of security. If the ease of removing user passwords is any indication, it's totally fucked even without the kind of bloat churned out by Microsoft's dravidian programmers.
Jack Hughes
eBay does not allow the sales of these, and also, no
Benjamin James
Sure they do. They allow all kinds of electronics to be sold.
Jace Adams
Not these. That's why you will never find them there. The auctions are automatically taken down whenever one is listed there by someone who doesn't know what they have.
Matthew Gray
Refreshing throwback to summer of last year on the same topic. archive.is/vZd19 Alleged military user on 4cuck was allegedly leaking info, some of which was related to these machines.
Matthew Long
No, it's permitted. You can list those items. Quite legal. You are clearly mistaken. It's possible that you're from Russia or something, where they don't understand American law.
Jeremiah Gonzalez
Yeah. It's a fraud.
Xavier Diaz
You can't list stolen government property

Well, shit. It was getting kinda fun.
So I can't sell my HEV suit?

Another fact:
There is evidence that his viral marketing ARG was not originally planned to end as abruptly as it did. The laptop took control and rickrolled everyone with dead babies.
These laptops cannot be trusted and they will also get you v&

Don't buy or use stolen / improperly demilitarized TPW laptops. They turn you into a furry.

Terry I will go down to the computer dungeon and install TempleOS on one of the confiscated TPWs and post pic proof if you send me a signed picture
Kevin Moore
You live to cause others to squirm. That is a homosexual trait.
Therefore, one cannot trust your position, as it probably is like your fellow subhuman, Weinstein's.
Mason Clark
Oh and also you have to warn everyone not to use or buy these laptops. Thanks Terry
Jack Jones
This thread reeks of autism, but are /cbts/ boomers really buying special computers to talk about the Q LARP?
Aaron Rogers
Wouldn't the firmware on these laptops be proprietary and have phone home abilities to the CIAniggers?
Dominic Scott
Yes. Yes, this is a thing. Now help discourage the idea. You wouldn't want a bunch of /cbts/ boomers to get their shekels snookered into buying something that they aren't even allowed to own, now would you?
Jacob Reed
Another reason we don't want you buying them- imagine all the spurdo I'd have to explain
Gabriel Green
I don't know, it would be kind of funny, and they'd stop shitting up the board with their LARP.
Isaiah Nguyen
Mods are busy shutting down some other thread I guess?
Lucas Miller
I'm off to bed. Shouldn't have stayed up this late before Christmas Day anyway.
Have a very merry Chanukah .
Kevin Howard
What kind of idiot uses old government hardware hoping it DOESN'T have backdoors?
Blake Johnson
The kind that marries used up roasties hoping that they'll stick around. Cucks.
Nicholas Rodriguez
It's kike larpers. They have nothing to do on Christmas, of course.
This is a trend, actually. For some reason this particular scam is (((allowed)))
Luis Diaz
What's very interesting about it is that people will believe it, upon zero evidence at all. Holy Christ people are stupid. They believe kikes didn't take down the towers (which is upon evidence) but that some fucking laptop made by Intel (yes, literally named Intel) is totes not backdoored - because someone anonymous tells them a story.
And for this reason this is most fascinating.
Also, there's a kike here talking to his sockpuppet, which is surreal.
Jordan Torres
Clearly no one remembers the thread on these years ago bunch of newfags all of you. They're legit laptops but you cant find them for sale anymore, even a few years ago they got bought up by hackers and if you do find one theyre going to be 10 grand now. At least this shows how much Qlarp shit actually researches his Holla Forums archives to rehash old threads to newfags.
William Bell
Try the CL sites that are in the state of Iowa and surrounding area
Brandon Howard
...
Dominic Reed
this is a fucking retarded thread and is a waste of everyone's time
Elijah Stewart
No, I'm not clicking on a kike sintral link.
It's not retarded if we can deep-six this crap LARP.
That's so incredibly untrue. That's not how offlease and milsurp works. The reason supply dries up is it gets dumped, and is worthless. Millions of other objects are impossible to obtain, because they are out of date, and there is no demand for them at all. It's not a conspiracy.
The entire story is astoundingly stupid. People believe things without a shred of evidence.
Gabriel Ross
I even browse with chrome. Get on my level faggot.
Blake Martin
Not a CPU guy but I hope tons of shit like this is siphoned off the Military. Fucking bastards are literally playing with peoples minds/futures/etc and not even disclosing jack shit about it. They ALL need to be lined up and blasted
Nathaniel Baker
If you see an old shit laptop with a stupid high price, it's probably full of CP
Ayden Morgan
I remember that webm but I don't know shit about pc's and still don't understand how anything above a p4 is a doorway. Is it because it runs/processes/scans everything that happens in the OS and on the HD?
