I went to the tump rally today and it was pretty fun. Middle of the day so most people were women or vets or college students. All super nice people happy to be there. Beautiful day too. Although I didn't really get in, there were at least 15k people there and we just almost got in but got turned away right before reaching the metal detectors. Hung out in a lot to the side with tons of other spillover people.

What really suprised me is how distrustful people are of the media. Trump rails against them all the time but you'd expect it to just be shallow polling stuff, my candidate can't possibly be losing. I really want to write a comic from the ground up. It would be about

A 20-something guy whose finished his engineering degree, but loses his right arm in a car crash. He tries to make do with a prosthetic arm but is very dissatisfied with it and begins to contemplate suicide. At the last moment he has an epiphany, and decides that since his life sucks anyway he might as well do something cool on his way out, so he builds himself a prosthetic arm with realistic engineering, that includes weapons and a shield and shit.

Using his arm, he becomes an "everyday superhero" in the vein of the RLSH movement or Kick Ass, with the hope of getting himself killed while doing some good for the world. The villains are all realistic - local drug pushers, gang bangers, and a corrupt cop as the big bad. You see how he becomes a hero, like with using a motorcycle to get around town faster than the cops, and using a police scanner and his own network of gunshot noise detectors to listen for crimes in progress. He robs the bad guys after killing or tying them up and uses the money to finance himself, ala Blade. The fight scenes are gradually upped from minor street brawls with one or two hoods to done like Punisher MAX, but it goes through all his psychological shit too, as he gradually becomes accustomed to violence.

In the end the story is like Static Shock meets Steel meets Frank Castle, and he gradually goes from being a kamikaze normalfag to a calculating, Deadshot type personality. In the grand finale he gets shot in the back at the start of the fight by a random mook cop and wakes up in the hospital, where he's told he's going to trial for a life sentence.

The bad guy dirty cop gets away with it.
