Well, some user here showed the new maps for 1.1 and I decided to give it a short try with the riverlands map. Now I'm 72 hours in, got a wife and kid, completed community center, just a shy of 1,000,000 monies in Year 2 winter.

But what else is there to do? I've got like six items missing from the museum, and I've been trying to befriend everyone up to 10 hearts but it gets kind of tedious. When does the grandpa return, at the end of year 3?

That wine cellar + starfruit wine iridium is a real money maker though.

Your achievements are tallied and Gramps rates you. That's about it. The game continues on afterward if you choose to keep playing, though. It's basically a point where you are given a score at the end of Year 2.

Grandpa is the deadline for not being a scrub, there is no endgame. And you can re-summon grandpa at any time after he appeared if you didn't finish the game before that, because faggots got their feefees hurt when he told them they suck.

Year 3* and no. You've got a few events tied with the desert, a few tied with krobus/dorf dynamic and a few new ones tied with the wizard/witch added in 1.1. Otherwise it's about autistic farm development and the community center scavanger hunt.
Short story is that the dev scrapped the original main plot about fighting back demon ran joja from consuming the land so we're left with some sandbox style shit.

The guy's a OK spriter and a decent programmer but let's be honest he can't write for shit So he pulled the I-I'll add the content later so you won't have to wait for six+ more months card.
I could've also sworn the combat system was supposed to have been more complex, the monsters tameable and butcherable, there were rival farmers, there was some runey tier shit about helping to heal the land or whatever…

Maybe we'll see some more content down the line, look at Terraria and all. Shit's still comfy to mod play.

What ARE some good Terraria mods? Most of the time online with Holla Forums turns into a shot storm of end game gear and boss rushes, Im looking for some comfy time as well as fun, doubt there's any lewd one though

While it took him a while to get 1.1 out the door, I'm hoping that means he'll actually add some of those other things to the game. Even if we can't butcher the animals ourselves, it'd be nice to be able to send them to get butchered and get their meat for recipes.

Terraria mods are a clusterfuck of bad ideas and occasional good content that's horrendously unbalanced in contrast to the rest of the game, also there's no Castlevania whip weapon anywhere so Terraria mods are shit.

Aside from a few portrait edits that show more cleavage or nudity, there are none. No one modifies the game, they only change the graphics.

The one I have from their forums turns pets, animals, and monsters into girls. It looks like the one from the nexus does the same thing, I can only tell from the screenshots since I can't read runes.

There are at least two different monstergirl mods. One chink made that has actual monster girls as in sheeptaurs and demon looking chikens and one weebmade with semi naked girls that just happen to have some animal features.
