best mods so far for this shitshow in terms of gameplay are PTRS mod, War Of the Commonwealth, enhanced blood, mutilation, vertical spawns, arbitration and the cannabis mod. Better settlers kind of a must too, as well as build high

there are some other decent weapons mods but ptrs and explosives dominate the battlefield, the rest is pretty much just flavor

godfuckingdamn is it fun to have prolonged 10 minute engagements with platoon strength gunners and filthy raider niggers, its the best fucking purge and kill gameplay available atm, hearing that PTR bark in the distance, ducking everytime you hear a rocket fizz, curbstomping some fucker or lopping his arm off with a ridiculous ka-bar machete and watching him run away is pretty fucking cash theres no denying it.

there were problems with this early on iirc but im running a custom animation for assault clipazines, its just a minor fix but its definitely possible.

most of the modders seems to be waiting for the creation kit or something when they could've, to my limited knowledge, done the animation and rigging in blender
they're also waiting for the script extender to add features and functionality
you can't realy prevent or limit modding, some super autist will find a way to do what they want to do even if it means they'll have to rewrite part of the game engine to do it
