You people are morons.

Beginning of net -> 2015: No Net Neutrality
2015-> NN (FCC control) Twitter, YT, etc… start censoring.

FCC now censors Internet, TV & Radio.

Idiots want NN because "neutral" sounds good. Do some research you fucking faghags

If you look at the giant tech interests that are desperately trying to spin the narrative of NN being about a free and open internet, it's pretty obvious the whole controversy is a fucking sham (as if Google, Facebook, Netflix and Twitter value or even care about openness or freedom) and nothing more than online services wanting to save a few bucks by not having to pay ISPs extra money for all the bandwidth they want to use.

Wouldn't the average internet user pay more as well? Wouldn't ISPs divide the internet into service packages? Wouldn't sites get blocked?

End users, especially normies, don't give a fuck about ideals such as freedom. The only thing they care about, and most of us as well, is the increased cost of using the internet. Anyone trying to frame net neutrality as an issue of freedom is stupid, and their message is entirely ineffective. People only care about immediate consequences.

Was is like that before 2015? No.

Leftist and Silicon Valley want the government to control the internet because they feel they can control the government via lobbyists.

The FCC and federal government is not a friend of free speech.

It wasn't like that for the longest time. Leading up to 2015 several ISPs tried throttling speeds and that was what led to net neutrality being drafted and made into law.

Comcast and ATAT?

What do you think NN is?
I was under the impression that it stops ISP's from discriminating against certain data differently than other data. That wasn't possible during the beginning of the net because at the beginning there was no deep-packet analysis to figure out what kind of data was being transferred yet.

Google, Netflix, and their flunkies on Reddit.
