It's pretty badly translated to be honest. Not so much in the sense of mistranslations (it's actually not too bad on that front), but in the sense that the translation sounds nothing like natural English speech. For example, where they translated it as "My name is Haruka. This school's third year", a translation that sounds more natural in English and closer to the original would be "I'm Haruka, a senior here." I'll be the first to admit it's not Shakespeare, but an unnatural sounding translation can make it sound much worse than it actually is. I call this the Fate Effect since Mirror Moon's god fucking awful translation of Fate/Stay Night made people go on and on about how Nasu writes such unnatural dialogue, but anyone who's read the real deal knows that natural sounding dialogue and narration is about the only strength of Nasu's writing style.
