Once you start farming weapons for your grid you'll want to stay one element, because of the way damage works-

Your roster won't ever not be suffering unless you pay money like a good goyim or reroll for a good starting character and get lucky with subsequent draws. Halloween LegFest at the end of this month would be a good time to try for that.

Rin and Anastasia are really good, use them with kat and roll Hermit yourself(unless you have the rise of the beasts axe) and you should be able to kill piña, uncap and then lvl them here

Noah and Uzuki are great, Sachi is a niche char that could help your team but honestly i feel Feather would do better, motherfucker hits harder than most SR's.

The summons I have are Oxymoron (2 stars), Brunnhilda, Anubis, Belle Sylphid, Proto Bahamut, Colossus, and Ranko.
As for weapons, it's mostly fully uncapped Romeo and Juliet stuff (harp and bow are 2 star), the rise of the beasts dagger that boosts honor for events, the sr axe from this event, and the ssr wand from this event. I've been killing the green creature a lot. And since I'm still somewhat new to the game, Hermit is?

Newbies best friend, since Hermit DPS comes from skills, you can deal good dmg even with a trash weapon grid.

Be sure to grind at least 1 copy of the showdown summons, they give 40% elemental damage and have some decent actives.

Useable earth weapons? A SR staff and the current event SR axe. I have been unlucky and drawn mostly R fire weapons and imps. So many fucking imps. My Ranko summon has been fed plenty of imps and a few skellies.

Because of how Skills are multiplicative, it is necessary to have one, preferably two, for respective elemental grids. If you have a Wind/Fire/Earth team, or are close to forming one, you should absolutely pick at least one up to MLB.

Yes, they can be uncapped to 120 and their skills are pretty good (apart from maybe the wind staff).

It's a painful process but totally worth it if you ever plan on going fire or earth, and there's no telling when the next time this event will be returning.

Yes, she's the best buffer in the game if you master her timings.

Yeah, Yoda is *the* pick for starting players as his ougi can consistently do 1mil ougi damage very easily and that'll one-hit kill most bosses Very Hard or lower. He does drop off once you get to higher level content though.

And yes Korwa is amazing, her buffs can stack with anything. She's so good that there are tons of people who add her to their team regardless of element.

just remember most of the times a good weapon pool is better than characters so leeching magnas coop and doing this event will net you some pretty good characters and some power (remember to use brunhilde so you can have a free ssr summon a cute stat stick)

44, so I know soloing Magna/Omega raids is a dream for a while. it's just been forever since I last felt a definite increase in overall power. It's been rough the last few days, is all. The freemium draws returning literal garbage, crystal anxiety, and checking the twitter only to see that I've already missed today's star halo (group H life is suffering) just make today particularly bad.

i'm rank 95 and i can't solo magna unless rng is my friend so it's not like you start powning ass from day 1 even with gacha weapons and a loaded credit card… for now try to assemble the best team you can using the idorus and start from there then when you can roll something good start thinking ahead

right now considering the game threw you a lot of water sr i would try to assemble a small balanced water team mc dark fencer anastasia rin and katalina and try to enter the most leviathan omega you can (laughing snek best weapon is the dagger so it can be a bit sad when you get jacksquat but the sr daggers can fill your pool nicely)

almost forgot… don't uncap weapons try to fill all the possible spots first THEN start uncapping especially with ssr weapons

I also realize that the MH mindset of building yourself up in order from low- to mid- to high-grade capability doesn't fit perfectly into this whole setup. yeah, apparently the deciding factor is how quickly you can enter an 8-character code, then how fervently you pray the raid loads in time for you to attack once.

Bringing blind, charm, mist, phalanx, bounty, etc. to raids is all you need to do, in all honesty pre-101 nips are just going to kill the bosses in 1 or 2 turns anyways.

Depends. Definitely split skills if they're different sources (Normal, Magna, Unknown) because they multiply. Once you've horned your Baha weapon, that's a really good place to funnel your fodder until then.

Each level gives 1% for more resources so eventually you get diminishing returns on getting one skill has high as you can, but if you have say 6 Magna, 1 Baha, 2 Normal, 1 Unknown, you'd want to get the magnas up to 5 and then get the rest up to 10 because they are multiplicative.

I was always told that you should get everything in your grid to skill level 5 and then focus on one weapon until it's skill level 10. Of course certain weapons should take priority (like EX skilled weapons).

There's this thing called "Zenith Perks," which basically means you can spend ZP to unlock more stats and skills for a class. Your ZP is gained through Class EXP when you are a job that is mastered, and the bar is global - so you can get ZP and spend it on one mastered job while you currently play as a different mastered job, if you so choose.

A lot of Zenith skills aren't exactly super useful, and most of them have niche uses, like Bishop's Zenith Veil. More important, though, is the stat increases - for 5 ZP, you can increase a class's Attack stat by 3,000. If you do this, for example, on your Mastered Weapon Master, you can get a ridiculous amount of ATK.

The 2nd and 3rd skills you learn normally as a class (at 5 and 15 for third row) you can use as EX skills, meaning you can slot them into any other class at will. A very popular choice is Miserable Mist from Dark Fencer, as it's an ATK/DEF debuff to all enemies.

Okay gents just to be clear on this, DMG UP buffs and enemy DEF DOWN debuffs stack, right? I've got 3 light characters and at least one of their abilities overlap with each other.

What stacks and what doesn't stack is pretty circumstantial. You're better off testing it out yourself.

That said, any buff that the MC uses is usually the strongest of it's type, and it won't stack with similar skills that other characters use. The exception are buffs that have a different name when cast (I.E. Strength instead of atk up).

Also, summon buffs stack with everything except a similar buff by another summon.

Player damage up buffs stack like this: One per unique source, i.e. weapon, character, and summon. This means you can have Rage III and Anat's Attack Up summon effect stack - but if you were a Mystic with Rage III, then Heavenly Eye Formation's ATK buff will overwrite Rage III's ATK buff. In the case that a buff is overwritten, it uses the ATK buff that is more powerful… Usually. Theoretically, Berserker's Rage IV should not overwrite Mystic's ATK Up, because it's greater (40% > 30%). This all applies with defense buffs, as well.

There are a few exceptions to this, usually revolving around Ougi Effects - the only one I recall right now is some weapon that gives you a Phalanx that doesn't stack with other typical Phalanxes.

Enemy debuffs stack to a specific hard cap, and any debuff that is ATK Down or DEF Down individually will almost always stack with each other. Most "Mist-like" debuffs (which are both ATK/DEF Down) won't stack, but there are a few exceptions, such as SR Ferry's Gespenst. It's pretty unlikely you will have a team that can reach the debuff cap of its own accord, but entirely possible. When you do reach the debuff cap, trying to further debuff the enemy will say "NO EFFECT" instead of "MISS." (I think this also shows up for Mist effects that don't stack with Real Mist.)

For other debuffs, usually the MC has the strongest version of the debuff - EX Blind is the strongest blind, Superstar+Harp is the strongest Charm, etc..

Is there anything worth it on Mithra? Or one of those area bosses like the Griffin and such?

You'll need Mithra anima for various things such as your GW Characters and MLBing Katalina. You'll want to focus your EP on the element that most benefits you - if you don't have a good team built up yet, get your idols (Anya, Rin) and make a water team and do Leviathans a bunch.

Getting a magna grid to start with is more important than looking for a Horn of Bahamut - Grand Order isn't necessary early on because she's particularly useful for Merits and if you have an explicit use for Cosmos Weapons.

So I just finished my pinboards, and got the SR/SSR summon ticket. Does legfest effect the results of that at all, or should I just go ahead and use it

General rule:
If the ticket is seen in the "rupie draw" part of the gacha window, then its NOT affected by legfest.
If the ticket is in the PREMIUM area of the gacha, then its affected by the legfest and does not expire

I was trying out my damage in trial battles to compare the effects of different summons, and I've found that between MLB Celeste, MLB Milia, and regular Bahamut, the damage is roughly the same. There was even one case where the Milia support made me do more damage than the other two.

What gives?

I only used a single target nuke skill to test on the summons. If you mean weapon skills, I used the same grid for all the tries so it shouldn't be the cause of this.

anyway as a rule of thumb double bahamut summon is for any type of fight celeste + bahamut is balanced double celeste summon is against light enemies (you shouldn't use celeste as main summon unless you have 4-5 lvl 10 skill magna weapon)

Nukes are a really poor indication of damage because they can do a wide range of damage. Usually there's a whole 100% variance of damage on the nuke (e.g. 300% - 400%) but some can do anywhere between 2x to 4.5x or even worse. Suffice to say, it's a bad measure of functional damage.

Here's the simplified damage formula:

[Total ATK * (Normal * Magna * Elemental * Unknown * Bahamut)] / Target DEF

The only sources of Elemental damage are from Elemental Superiority/Inferiority and most summons. MLB Milia gives either 40% or 50%, pretty sure it's 40%, and it almost certainly is Elemental but I don't know how to actually confirm in-game.

So, for example, let's say you have the following skills: 20% from Magna (2x Big ATK Ups skilled to LV5); 30% from Normal (some collection of Medium and Big ATK Ups slightly skilled up); 10% from Bahamut (Bahamut Dagger, fully human team, LV1) and no unknown weapon.

Picking Milia as your main and MLB Bahamut as your support (50% + 120% Elemental) will make the multiplier on your ATK look like this: 1.3 * 1.2 * 2.7 * 1 * 1.1 = 4.6332.
Picking Bahamut as your main and MLB Bahamut as your support (100% + 120% Elemental) will make: 1.3 * 1.2 * 3.2 * 1 * 1.1 = 5.4912.

Let's say instead you have 100% from Magna, 30% from Normal, 10% from Bahamut.

Bahamut and MLB Bahamut: 1.3 * 2 * 3.2 * 1 * 1.1 = 9.152
MLB Celeste Magna and MLB Bahamut: 1.3 * 3 * 2.2 * 1 * 1.1 = 9.438

The rough breakpoint where you want to start using MLB Celeste Magna is ~95% Magna ATK Up. Otherwise, Bahamut is better.

/gbfg/, I fucked up. Grinded the idoru clicker game for the collab, but didn't get the characters and loot. Turns out I didn't link both games: when I registered for Cinderella Girls, it created a separate account. Only found out about the snafu on the very last day, and the game refuses to merge them, or transfer one to the other.

So no Ana or Smuggy for me. I'm going to chalk this up as a learning experience, and hope they'll roll back in a later event.

One of the SRs for the GW event has the skill that adds dodge chance for dark characters.

Think that's worth anything? If it works like 1% per skill level it'll be at least a 10% chance to dodge.

Does anyone have a guide of the GW characters and what weapon unlocks them? Or even just advice on which weapon to chase for my first time being serious in a GW? I want to make some sort of informed decision, even if I know I won't be able to fully upgrade it for a while.

For a weapon: Dagger or Harp. Dagger, when awakened, will give DA rate up on ougi. Harp, when awakened, will give a 2K party heal on ougi.

For a character: Note that this process will probably take months unless you have already began grinding for the materials.
Bow -> Light, Sorn. Paralyzes on ougi, extremely relevant in HL content.
Fist -> Dark, Six. Damage. Look, Dark is the DPS element.
Sword -> Wind, Siete. All around extremely strong.
Gun -> Fire, Tien. Bounty Hunter passive that works from backline.
