Well the Christian man had some good advice. Although it's quite bourgeois and epitomizes capitalist fantasies, we're trapped in our socio-historical conditions. That being said, having these skills and assets may end up being of great use for the revolution.
As some more practical advice, I would also suggest talking to more woman. Get numbers and start casually dating. Following your passion is its own gift in itself but I understand its rough.
I've been an alcoholic with substance abuse problems since I started university and then got worse when I was kicked out and had to work shitty minimum wage jobs. I felt isolated, which made me feel helpless. During this time, I put all my hopes in a girl who repeatedly turned me down. It all did seem hopeless and for awhile I succumbed to nihilism. I was trapped in a vicious cycle where I felt worthless and did nothing. They fed into each other and I often thought about suicide.
I couldn't take it any longer and decided something needed to change. I suspect it was from swinging further left but, that's neither here nor there. Change comes slowly. Motivation isn't easy to find, I still often have trouble properly motivating myself. Nonetheless, I can a huge difference at this point.
You need to start by focusing your energy. Choose a single aspect of your life that you'd like to improve. Be it a hobby, a skill, a healthy activity, or some sort of self education, choose one and set achievable goals. Make it very small at first, going for a weekly walk, meditate a few days a week, read a book a month, etc. You'll start feeling better about having and achieving goals. You'll develop skills, feel more useful, and have more energy. Once it gets going, you'll find the momentum swing the other way and begin pushing you forward. Any of these things will make women more interested and you'll end up doing more which will only make you more interesting.
You can do it comrade. Start changing yourself in small ways and you will see the difference it makes. Don't feel like you're not worth it, you're more than worth it. I believe in you and I know I'm not the only one, whether in real life or here. It may not feel like people care but we do. Don't forget it comrade, best of luck.

My mom and dad came to the US with European Master's degrees and had to take some of the most menial shit available to them until my dad found a decent factory job while my mom went to school to get her teaching certificate; my grandma raised me. Then both my parents taught a while in the public school system until my dad started a small publishing company in the beginning of the 90s when the internet started to boom. We were immigrants who became real fancy but somehow we came down a bit.

My parents grew up in rural parts of a certain Eastern European country and thus have a lot of hands-on experience of stuff; fixing shit was normal for us and we would be shocked to see slightly scuffed furniture or appliances in the alley. Much of our stuff is repaired or secondhand; on the off chance we buy something new, its usually tools or stuff to fix the house.

My dad, though he went to university, went to a technical high school and can labor on a job site with the best of them. My mom, though she teaches, knows how to take care of a farm, feed animals and had to help my uncle slaughter animals for meat. It's all part of reclaiming your history and knowledge.

I want to get in on some small-scale stuff like beekeeping and winemaking. In our city, home brewing, hacking and backyard agriculture is a popular thing now.

I went to learn how to use wood tools from second grade at our local park district. I learned to solder at a stained glass studio in the eighth grade. I later had the fortune of learning high-energy physics hands on at one of our National Laboratories, which also meant learning how to build experiment setups from basic materials and off-the-shelf parts. Later, working at other places like a metal shop and a plastics factory allowed me to grasp the tools and techniques used in the production and testing of other materials.

Go to your local surplus store or hackerspace. They have good supplies and tools, and then teach you how to use the tools to make the things you want.

The most important thing you can do is to find other people like yourself who want to get better and hang out. Keep yourselves busy and hold each other to account. Don't get discouraged.
