It's pretty cozy but also pretty sleepy, which is just fine for me but not so much if you're looking for any decent looking chick - say what you will about cities being trash (which is true) but virtually every good looking woman that I grew up with is living in a city now and I'm more than a few years out of college at this point. There are a lot of younger people here who are honestly pretty trashy. It's still virtually 100% white though but the sense of community that I remember from my younger days really seems to be gone. It's an odd feeling really. I'm not sure if that's a very common thing amongst rural dwellers in Canada or just my specific place.

If anything, I'd try to get into the US if you can. Some state like Montana or something seems pretty cozy and you're more likely to find uncucked people from what I can tell.
