You act as if that's a bad thing

ooga booga feminism bad

...

Yes. It is a little known fact that Engels was 136 years old when he died, having been born in 1759 as a woman named Mary Wollstonecraft.

Mary Wollstonecraft, fag

A better question

Does Sargon of Akkad and Thunderf00t have more legitimate of a presence on the board for Marxists, than Engels

Yes.

Why is it good?

Sargon is hated here and Thunderf00t is irrelevant.

Damn anfem back at it again with the burn

no.

And as for "these little madams, who clamour for women's rights", Engels regarded the campaign for female suffrage as a distinctly middle-class distraction.

Then he was strictly referring to women's rights of the middle class…almost like…liberals? Also at the time of the 19th century, even middle class women were repressed in class ability. Ability to even have class organization, work in labor.

get a grip

The overlap is enormous between watchers. They'll never admit it, however.

Jesus Christ, your reading comprehension is pitiful. He regarded the entire cause to be a petit bourgeois IDEOLOGICAL distraction, you dense twat. In other words, anything unrelated to the *class* struggle was not worth revolutionaries' attention, according to Engels. Read the fucking article before you embarrass yourself further.

Engels is a bit more complicated then that. If you honestly think he thought the opposite sex were separable from class struggle you are such an enormous moron that one wonders how you even ended up calling yourself a communist

Were you dropped on your head as a child? Where the fuck did I suggest any such thing? He believed true equality between the sexes would come about in communism so time spent by revolutionaries on the issue during capitalism was a waste of time and energy. why is it so difficult for you to grasp this? Fucking hell.

This isn't what he believed at all. If it even was, the topic itself is the topic itself. It doesn't simply go away when communism happens. It's vastly naive to put off sex differences in Capitalism until Communism happens, because in essence it's refusal to accept the market informs identity.

Feminism is inseparable from socialism

But without economic control over their spouses, wives, and so on, patriarchy becomes a moot point

I never suggested otherwise, but the fact that Communism is so far away that bringing ourselves to that point becomes a topic.

Can you elaborate what you mean here? Because its pretty obvious that identity is informed by the market and in fact creates avant-garde ways of relating to capital and its products.

This is why Marx was much smarter than Engels, hence why Marx is so rememerable and Engels forgettable
