It comes down to culture here: we have no issue with Turks, Germans, Japanese, Afrikaaners or anyone else we have fought. Heck, we even allowed Turkish WW1 vets to march in our military parades. We have a really relaxed culture that has no enemies and no living memory. Russians are not this way.
