Zoner with mines you can plant and lots of projectile spam like hand grenades one of which can be used as a movement tool or apply large full screen knock back when used in light or heavy mode respectively. Downside being that explosives deal self damage so you can't end melee range combos with them without hurting yourself.
The combos in turn would be pretty short and low damage ones and the best hit confirm being a quick combat knife swipe which has shit range and can be ducked under.
A rocket launcher whose projectile travels in a straight line and can be launched in the air at a 45% degree. Damage would be respectable because the only way to chain into it would be after a full screen launcher due to a long startup while on the ground. If blocked however it deals massive chip damage so you can finish off a severely wounded opponent or bait him to jump over it for another setup with mines and timed grenades.
Air strike: A vertical high speed explosive drop that like everything else deals massive self damage if caught in the radius. It also causes a bounce so it can be followed up with an air string.
Self destruct: reveal a shitload of armed explosives underneath the characters clothing for 6 frames. If struck by a melee attack during that window explode for massive damage that sets the users health to 1 after it ends. A miss will deplete the super bar cost for no effect.

It's hard to come up with something that doesn't resemble 90% of any other fighting character so i'll just post a pic of my favorites.
The common trait is that they are mainly zoners except they aren't really good at it, but they can get in and out of people's faces very fast, and i love these hit and run characters.
3rd one may not seem like it, but all of her attacks push people a mile away from her even on block.

Rushdown with lots of high-low mixups involving an oversized fork and knife.
Minor super taks a wok and puts it down in front of me, and has some splash damage from oil and shit getting everywhere. High damage in the immediately front area, and low arcing splash for a meter beyond there. Major Super is a forward rushing combo with a pair of meat cleavers that catch the opponent and push them to the side of the screen the attack is going.

Two attacks that seem almost identical, one which hurts you if you fail to counterattack or get out the way first and one that automatically counters attacks but inflicts no damage as done normally, both with almost exactly the same animations.
