I've just started with Dragon Quest Heroes, it my first Musou game. I'm a little uncertain about it but it looks like it might be fun. My question is how does it stack up against others of it's kind? What should I expect if I dive into genera?
Right now I'm devoted to Hyrule Warriors Adventure Mode, and, shit, some levels are really hard to get an A. After this, I plan to star Warriors Musou 3 Hyper. But I just got Dynasty Warriors 8X, Samurai Warriors 4-II and Bladstorm Nightmare on Steam in the last sale, so you can see I'm fucking drowning on ω-Force games already. Beezus, I'm fucked. By the way, from all the characters I've played at the moment on Hyrule Warriors, Twili Midna is the most fucking OP of all of them. She have a huge AOE as her strong attack and also a freaking cannon that can kill from quite long distances. And cool sound effects too.

id love to grab hyrule warriors, but i dont want to pay for dlc after buying the game when its available from the get go in the 3ds version, and i dont want to play a game like that on the 3ds.

Anyone found more botched localization in DQ7 3DS?
Thomas Clark
I had a bit of fun with the Dragon Quest Builders demo. Never liked Minecraft, but the DQ version has more structure, NPCs, a narrative (of sorts), an end goal. I think having that structure and goal to work towards is just what I need to actually get invested. Actually makes it a game, rather than just a bunch of blocks to play legos with. The artstyle is pretty comfy too.
Jace Hughes
You made me try out the demo too and shit, this is comfy as fuck.
Eli Morgan
Yeah I also tried out the demo and anyone else get deep vibes for Dark Cloud from this?

Any significant difference between ps3 and ps4 version? I'm mildly interested in this, but I'm never buying another console as long as I live. Alternatively, PC release when so I can just pirate it.
Carter Morgan
Unless you're a graphics whore, it doesn't matter which you buy since I don't think there's a multiplayer.

I've only really played 2 versions of Sengoku Basara 3, I played some Dynasty Warrior game long before that but I can barely remember, and from what I remember it was bland as hell. But SB3 is fresh in my memory and most characters seem to be pretty different from each other.
Leo Lopez
whoops, forgot vid, here's some gameplay

what's that honking move? is it censored?
Hunter Gomez
Puff Puff and no.
Camden Miller
They went with those shitty accents again, so the whole things fucked.

Are they blown the fuck out of proportion or bearable? Is there any more shit like pic related? Did they censor any of Maribels outfits? Are the slot machines really in it? Did anyone get to the credits yet to confirm if it was Shloc LTD or NoA that localized it? What would one need to know to download and emulate PS1 version?
Nicholas Williams
I've got Hyrule Warriors in my backlog. I've had it since it released but I wasn't able to play any of my modern consoles due to a broken TV.
to advertise for them. besides, its better than going "you dont want that"

The translation of the 3ds version of DQM1 is out, btw.

I think most DLC characters are included in packs with additional adventure maps, and cost about 5 bucks on the E-Shop.
Not THAT bad per say, as the first adventure map is taking up a lot of my time when I play it, although picking different characters and having fun with them helps. I haven't purchased any DLC for it, personally. Like I said, I have spent at least 30 hours or so going through the first one, and while it's plenty grindy (Not as bad as some free to play games, Warframe sticking out) for unlocking different upgrades for characters, it's still fun.
Cia did nothing wrong
Although as pointed out, it's still pretty fucking annoying that the DLC is free on the 3DS version if you want it.

If it wasn't for the fact that Honeywood was the one who did DQ8s original localization, I'd be worried that it'd be fucked beyond playability. Does make me wonder if since they went through the effort of swapping orchestrated for midi, will they cut out the voices in DQ8 3DS.
Non-unapologetic slut Maribel best DQ girl.

I have to say DQ Heroes feels like it's going to be a short game.
