1. Designate a spot in the forest or a field, somewhat sectioned off, where you just dump everything organic like foodscraps, shit, leaves, grass, woodchips, branches, old garden soil, newspapers, etc. and let nature takes its course. 2. Prepare and use liquid fertilizers especially for potted plants. 3. Create an irrigation system to take lots of the work out of watering the plants. 4. Use coldframes or various forms of greenhouse (including the kind partially dug into the ground which is better than the traditional kind). 5. Use soapy water spray if you get mealy bugs or aphids. 6. Just look up whatever pests you do discover and treat them beforehand. 7. Learn the different plant families like cucurbitae, nightshade, carrot family, onion family, etc. 8. Muh crop rotation. 9. Muh good sunny location. 10. Muh windbreakers (lines of trees to help slow the wind down) 11. Ignore shitty common varieties of plants and GMO, get the rare heirlooms to grow instead.

Btw regarding composting I had composting bins originally but animals kept gnawing into them and eating everything and nothing decomposed well anyways so I just did away with the stupid bins.
The trench composting method is the most effective, simple, and efficient method. Just dig a trench and start throwing scraps back in, every one in awhile putting some of the soil back, the mixture of soil/clay/compost helping things breakdown faster than if it was just a pile of compost only.
However I do it even easier than that. I just dump everything in one spot in the forest and the animals come and eat it and turn it into shit. Consequently I also have a large population of squirrels, groundhogs, and other animals. They damage my plants in my garden unless they are contained behind chickenwire or in a greenhouse or it's something like tomatoes which are in the nightshade family and thus poisonous so pretty much everything leaves them alone. Even with the damages though I overseed like crazy and manage to get all kinds of plants growing.
If you don't have wild animals to do that then pigs or something can hang out near you compost pile and eat it and turn it to shit which will be useful as fertilizer quicker.
One of the benefits also of a compost pile in the forest is if you want to hunt wild game and thus eat better quality healthier meat that isn't full of hormones and crap, your compost pile will bait/attract lots of animals to it usually.
Sometimes though the wild animals population plummets and no animals come to the compost pile and the stuff thrown into the pile just decomposes untouched for long periods of time.
Other times you throw stuff out there and it's gone the very next day as if it never existed.

Hemp is not marijuana and Hemp is grown freely across America and Canada and always has been legal. Don't confuse the same. I literally buy hemp seeds and if I wanted to various hemp products no problem. You can see unguarded fields of hemp growing because Hemp does not have the same stuff marijuana has in it.
If you're in a really cramped place and don't have much space you might want to consider hydropronics or systems that use things other than soil as the growing medium. You can also do the planting in bags thing. If you try to grow out of something like pots I highly suggest either using terracotta pots or a big trough that cows and horses and stuff eat at or a bathtub or something similar with thick walls. I have a huge collection of pots of all sorts as for years I've just been picking them up from curbs and I have every kind of pot and the plastic ones that can flex because they are so thin and aren't rigid are shit for growing plants in. Terracotta breaks easy and will be destroyed by ice if you leave it outside but the plants grow much better in it and the soil stays moist much longer.

To be schedule 1 there must be no medical need that does not have an acceptable substitute and it must have a high risk of abuse.
