The only D&D game I really played was Neverwinter Nights, and the whole "sorcerer's main stat is charisma" thing was fucking pants on head retarded to me. Guys I can confirm this as I was at the 2014 dragon con panel for Tides of Numenera. The lead writer who's name I can't remember was there along with another lead and a blonde woman who had something to do with development.

They fielded a question about diversity in the game and the blonde woman answered very eagerly that diversity was a major component of the game. I rolled my eyes and knew the game was probably shit back then.

As a bonus, the following Monday morning, Richard Garriot apologized for not having enough diversity in his Ultima games. He also said he thought Anita was right even if she was a con artist. All this when asked by a blobby-looking social justice mutant.
