It was an RPG game, something like Sam RPG or something like that. There was a sequel too. I remember it was all about stuff like getting up to go to work, making breakfast, etc. Point and click. And I remember in the sequel you could buy bootleg CDs in an alleyway and go to a convienence store (eventually I think your character shoots the place up).

I'll never cease to be amazed every time I go to see if it's still alive.

It was a top down car game where you pretty much had to out run and avoid all the other cars on the road. The further you got the more points would rack up and the scenery would also change. You could get three power ups which were, natural gas, oil and I think fire maybe.

Also your game sounds like that old zelda flash parody, but I'm pretty sure that's not what you're talking about.

Seems like art style completely changed and the character sprites have no animation.

Was it 3D? I remember one like that. Kind of like Spy Hunter on steroids. Other cars would shoot at you and try to pop your tires by ramming you side by side, and your car had machineguns as well. It changed enviornments too, and your car spawned by sliding out the back of a semi truck.

Does anyone remember those pixelated flash games that they were surprisingly good? Like Flygirl or the Pac-man but with a slacker who's trying to avoid his boss and his bootlicker's?

I won't miss Flash for being a gigantic unoptimized mess, but it sucks how the death of Flash killed freeware web gaming in general. There's always HTML5 canvas/WebGL games but those are harder to host and distribute, and they upset retards who hate the idea of people being able to look at their super secret code as it runs in the browser.

Eventually, when Adobe dies, Flash will be reverse-engineered and thus open-source alternatives will emerge. It already happened in the past (alternative viewers/players) but Adobe reacted with frequent updates which changed things too much too quickly for enthusiasts to follow.

i also tryied grow rpg but it felt like the phase where everything plays out is too time consuming making it a pain to replay to get the perfect ending
