Steam Robot Sale

Looks like this week's >Steam sale is all about clang. Heart&Slash is kinda fun, if completely broken, Megabyte Punch and The Fall are cool titles, and Transformers Devastation has a good sale going on too.
Earth Defense Force 4 is still over 30 bucks.

You son of a bitch

Recommending Astebreed, Binary Domain, Deadly Tower of Monsters, Gigantic Army, Gunmetal, Drunken Robot Pornography and Strike Suit Infinity(Not Zero, Infinity), as well as every Transformers game that isn't Rise of the Dark Spark

How's Talos Principle and Executive Assault? An RTS where you get to control your units seems pretty neat.

Talos Principle is great and it's expansion is even better. Highly recommend it.

A lot of decent games on sale for once. Ignoring MN9 and FNAF.

...

What about project Nimbus? I like the aesthetics but it's early access and only 20% off.

...

Might pick up Steel Strider. That's pretty much all that's in my price range. Even then I'd have to sell stuff.

Binary Domain is excellent.

Pick up the only first FNAF, the rest are kinda phoned in and the lore gets wonky

maybe get the second one if you really like the gameplay

Megabyte Punch is crippled by lack of online play. Which saddens me because it's the kind of game that would be really really fun online.

Pathetic. Sage

Who wouldn't want a robot that look like their waifu to fuck?

How are talos principle and drunken robot pornography?

Why yes fellow vidya lovers this looks like a fantastic sale. How are you all on this fine steam sale day? Doing well with wallets at the ready I hope?

I for one cannot wait to partake of these truly epic deals! What a marvelous opportunity to expand my Steam library! Shut up and take my money, as they say!

Nice digits, but I don't follow your argument.

Talos Principle is good. No cheap bullshit or timed solutions.

The DLC is a little harder, but I'd say it's because the puzzles are set in large arenas that you have to traverse back and forth, creating artificial padding.

CHECKED
if you're actually serious and don't realize there was no mention of sexbots in the OP, and/or you just associate all robots with sex, you're a faggot my man

The OP does say clang, though.

user, there's been dozens of FNAF fangames clones ever since the first one came out.

It's not shilling if they do it for free

Still need to play this game. Does it emulate well or should I put it on my PS2HDD?

Haven't played it, but you can probably ask in an Armored Core thread about since that's what it reminds me of the most.

I thought it had online play? Is it really local only?

Seconding The Fall if you like simpler Point-and-Click adventure games. Grest atmosphere and writing, easy enough puzzles.

Figured this was as good of thread as any, but does anyone know if you can make the robutt in Haydee not a nigger? The game is alright so far I guess, but I'd rather not be staring at an ape's asshole for the whole game. Thanks.

yep, local only. The single player is pretty decent though.

...

Yeah, I've played a bit of it. Good fun, a bit frustrating with the controls since it's not quite smash but it's still fun.

I downloaded a pack of mods that may have had what you were looking for, but deleted them after finding they were mods for a game I didn't have installed.
Keep searching, though, it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Pathetic. Counter sage

enjoy your rentals

Binary Domain is pretty good, no idea why it flopped so hard. I suspect it just doesn't look any good in trailers.

There's a mod that makes her legs entirely black as in black leggings so I guess that would work.

It's not the focus of the game, but sure.

They gave that out for free not to long ago, still great game.

Hold on, this theme is weird
what if this is the Potato ARG 2.0, this time for the big one we've been waiting for

NEVER

I can tell you got those images from reddit because of the imgur filenames but I ain't gonna bully you over it
user, it just looks like the frames of a optimized gif. I don't see what's so special here.

01001000 is binary for H
01000101 for E
01001100 for L
01010000 P.
So the bottom text is "HELP"

The top text says "01001000 0100010", the second half of that is only seven bits long so it doesn't translate to anything, if it had an extra 1 it would be "E", if it had an extra 0 it would be "D"
The first half translates to H, so it's either "HD" or "HE".

monsanto pls go

fuck off shill

Talos is excellent and Road to Gehenna is even better. Definitely worth a look if you're into philosophical stuff, arguing with DOS, and puzzles that can be neat, if unoriginal. With lots of fun easter eggs

At this point, between the front page being almost nothing but generals, and most of said generals being complete ass cancer, like the Overwatch general, giving money to steam barely hits 6/10 on the cancer scale.

Any number above 0 on the cancer scale is too cancerous to be allowed to exist.

Any recommendations?

here's the full list for anyone interested

A smart pirate would treat Steam and its sales as a piracy-suggestions list instead of throwing shitfits about it on Holla Forums

I mean, I've given my recommendations already. Heart&Slash is a broken mess of a third person brawler, but it's still one of my favorite games for the music and the overall feel. The sound design and effects make for some really satisfying combat. Just… riddled with physics errors and buggy items.

Binary Domain is a real hidden gem of a TPS, but if you don't have a mic, don't bother. Yes, you can give voice orders to your teammates. And at the rate the game goes, you need to.

The Fall is a great adventure game, with interesting philosophies; I'd compare it to The Swapper, that puzzle game about cloning yourself to solve puzzles and slowly turning into The Prestige, except this is more of a classic point and click tone than a Portal one.
On the subject of point and clicks, Primordia is also supposed to be pretty good.

Megabyte Punch is basically Subspace Emissary: the entire game, but its main gimmick is that your character collects parts from other robots that give you new abilities. Switch out that blade arm that gave you a slash attack, now you can equip a drill arm that gives you a Fox up special-style move. It has local multiplayer, but no online.

There's probably some other good ones on the list, Gigantic Army is supposed to be a real cool shooter in the vein of that old Genesis game Ranger X, and Goliath looks… interesting. I tried giving Giga Wrecker a chance, but it was unfortunately Game Freak's most boring platformer yet, even more boring than Tembo.

which games have lolis

...

druken robot pornography or talos principle.

vouching for primordia.

Life is hard when you associate everything with sex.
