Most polls held on the topic usually result in the majority of people living in the currently hypothetical state being in favor of it.
What can be done to make this state a reality?
It's very rural and a lot of rugged country. IE low income. So even though the majority want it they don't have the cash to really get it rolling. We don't have anybody like soros, steyer etc. on the right to fund this kind of stuff. Cali won't want to let go of mendocino and huboldt because of the MJ industry.
Del Norte county won't go for it because the state prison here is pretty much the largest employer.
Wouldn't the state prison just change states? It wouldn't evaporate.
Californians want this to happen, the problem is city states like LA won't compromise.
They're better off arming up and declaring independence themselves because doing things "lawfully" are a waste of time.
Jefferson wouldn't become accountable for the convicts of California, so they would have to be relocated. Not to mention the Cali CO's having to relocate because Jefferson doesn't need them all.

Realistically, it's close to impossible. Jefferson is basically all of California's water supply. The Hollywood kikes would never allow it to happen. Even if this wasn't the case, the lefties hate right wingers so much they would vote against Jefferson independence just to spite them.

No way it will happen because most of the people living in those territories who aren't growers are either dependent on the state or feds for income, either via unemployment or handouts. It just isn't feasible as almost everyone there would be cutting themselves off.
