Tried it. Analysis concludes that 15 out of 57 AVs consider it a virus or harmful. Usually I'd chalk it up to a false positive too, but seeing MalwareBytes and McAffee consider it a legitimate virus while shit like Avira doesn't is making me cautious.

I suggest you install F-Droid. I can recommend some programs from it that need root: /system/ app mover (allows you to make system apps normal ones and vise versa. Which you can then remove, however this may make your system unstable at least for a little bit) , AdAway (system wide adblock), SimpleReboot (allows soft rebooting amoungst other things), No- frils CPU Controller Classic and co (allows you to try and increase battery life by chaining max CPU speed and it`s profile) and AFWall+ (system Firewall).

Uploading will take a little while.For my own sanity and in my eye's try fix my incoherent mess. By default the game is set to v1.8 with just the base game and the free DLC.
However if you want to set it to the latest patch + almost all of the DLC, there is a .bat file named after the current version to remove the relevant files (so that the game doesn't get confused) and then you just extract the archive with the latest patch +DLC into the root folder.
To go back to v1.8 just swap around the .bat and extracted archive. You will find all of this under GameVersions/ .It should hopefully work but I was unable to find the registry entries.
I would suggest checking the sha256sums before trying to extract the archive in case one part has corrupted. Password: Archive-name

a technical question and request. I'm using qbittorrents and I discovered I could add more trackers in order to find more seeds/leechers That was mind blowing and I don't know why I didn't look into it before. But I have 2 problems.

Personally I would recommend, Qbittorrent. To make it more useful; enable the search engine (views > tick on Search engine) and add more search addons. The link is in plain view when you click on "Search Plugins" at the bottom of the search engine tab. Another suggestion, enable the "require encryption" option under one of the tabs in the preferences menu.

Word is it doesn't have anything over Just Cause 2, and has even less to do. It also repordedly has memory leaks out of the ass.
But as I didn't play it, this is just hearsay.

One of the reasons why I put the thread that it got dumped in, is so that if a password is required the thread can be opened in the Archives and ctrl+f can be run (with either the mega link or anything else) until the dumping post is found. Most likely along with the password.

It's not. I bought it for 30 bucks before launch and it's fun, but it's gonna take 50 fucking gigs of space. That's the bigger problem. And it's got problems with framerate on one computer but not on another. I got lucky with it, and works fine for me. At least, it did before the first patch, which is when it dropped from 100-120 fps at most times including combat and fuckhuge explosions at most dropping by 10%, to 40-50 with frames dropping below 20 fps when there's not that much action. I don't know what they fucked up, but they need to fix it.

However, that leaves me with a problem, because the passwords left by the guy who posted them were just said to be "{around-the-name-of-the-archive} of the-name-of-the-archive." Since there is nothing near the archive's name I can think of, I tried many variations of the archives names (The name itself, spaces instead of dashes, nothing instead of dashes, certain parts removed, and the name of the MEGA link) and none of them work.

The person implies that when, you get a password prompt add { and } to the archive name, so that it becomes {archive-name}.

I forgot to mention the cracked version of DaS3 performs stupidly better. My GT 720 could only get 20 FPS at best (800x600 low settings) when I had a legit installation but after testing it just now it is ~40-50 if not 60, I didn't have any overlay showing me my framerate though.

Because I have exams next month and want to focus on them. I have the steam version, so I guess it is not going to be a stupidly simple process? I have means of getting a GOG copy, thanks for the offer though. On closer inspection, it would be nice if you could upload it as my method is beeing unreliable.

Got Mafia 2 from the MEGA links and the scans I've done come out clean.

The links were taken down for a whole shitload of games from the hosts for those linkas (ie Mega terminated all the MEGA links) and only newer ones games unaffected except one specific site, otherwise the usual adware and redirects persist and the usual method to deal with them still works. Of course using proper security is always a good idea and it could be something else you're talking about that I missed.

No, basically all the games uploaded up to a certain date are gone except like that one host site in the mirror list I forgot it's name I think it's KumpulBagi, so all new releases have working links but all the old games that have been sitting on the site collecting dust have been taken down. Rule of them if it's been the last couple months or newer then it has multiple working mirrors.

I tried KumpulBagi a few times and so far I haven't had any problems but you should scan and take proper precautions for all downloads from it.
