After that given that the protagonist's courage is at level 3 or higher, he can dial Sadayo to his residency using the public phone in Cafe Le Blanc to initiate her Cooperation. The call-out service for basic house cleaning costs 5,000 yen each time and only available on Friday and Saturday regardless of weather. Additional domestic service costs additional fee. However, all domestic services will be free of charge upon reaching Coop rank 9.

Her Coop abilities are huge time savers so the player can spare the precious time for other activities like raising social performance or participate in other Coop events.

At rank 10, you can call her to give you massages so you have more time to do stuff at night instead of sleep to the next day. Also asking her to clean up or do laundry onwards is free of charge.

Crimson is a meme, even if it's one I could see becoming true.

The only lose end is whether or not Goro survives. Vanilla seems to imply he dies and leaves it at that, but it's a "never found the body" kind of dead.

Other than that I think everything wraps up fine, people just want more. See in P5 the final, final dungeon happens on Christmas rather than the last day, I think people got weirded out by the pacing. I don't think it's that different from P4 Vanilla, to be honest. You get the same amount of time.

Golden adds a bunch of time, so I think people got spoiled by that.

It's the same number of dungeons as P4:

Kanji → Madarame
Rise → Yakuza guy
Mitsuo → Futaba
Naoto → Haru
Nanako → Sae
Adachi → Shidou
Izanami → Final

The only difference is that Shidou and the final dungeon happen way closer together in calendar time. But it's not like you got to prepare new stuff for the final dungeon in P4 Vanilla, either. You still got warped to the end of the school year right after you beat Ameno Sageri. You could argue that the final dungeon in P5 is less substantial because it's basically just mementos, though.

Pretty sure Goro is dead. He sacrifices himself so that you can stop Shido. He gets shot two times, once in the stomach by puppet Goro and second time behind the wall. Also he coughs blood while he talks before he gets shot the second time and you make a trade with since he can't obviously escape, to take Shido's heart. He smiles one last time at you and his s-link goes to max which talks about sacrifice.

That puppet was a real danger, he was ordered by Shido to kill anyone who got his way and Shido also would have killed Goro because he knew too much and was his illegitimate child which would tarnish his political reputation. Also whoever gets stuck in the Palace disappears within it when it collapsed which is why you see PT running from their lives after every main boss battle. Goro's body would have disappeared within the palace. Also Futaba mentions after the two shots that she doesn't feel Goro's presence (as in that he is alive) and that the puppet also disappeared.

Even though Sae is your secret ally, I'm not sure how she would take the fact that "Yeah, he was shot in another dimention and his body disappeared within the Palace."

I don't think PT would leave Goro alone if there was a chance that he survived the gunshots. It was only after Futaba's comment that they moved on.

Shidou is completely fleshed out. There's nothing unexplained about him or Goro. People were just disappointed Goro ended up being mostly a guy with daddy issues rather than Adachi 2.

Anyone else think it would be pretty cool to make your own team from the your S.links/ co-ops by giving them personas kind of like the way Gas Attendant or the Arrow from jojo. Depending on when you give them their persona it's strength will be different and they react differently. Their route also changes when you give them one. Maybe have like 3 different "persona routes" available;
1. no persona
2. early persona
3. late persona

They've done it before with P2:EP, it'd be nice to see them do it again. The problem with an adult cast is that you wouldn't interact with them as much as you would other students.

A college setting might actually work better with the P3/4/5 loop, as you wouldn't be "required" to go to class every day, which would raise the stakes of the academic aspect, as you'd have more say in the balance of school/dungeons and possibly risk a nonstandard game over by failing out.

Depends on which games you play, if you do as says, you will find that Persona 1 and 2 play almost nothing like Persona 3 and the games since 3 have been building on 3's playstyle, which is: daily life social sim time management mixed with dungeon exploration and turn-based combat. Essentially: you have to balance social parts of your life while also trying to clear dungeons bu a certain date. The social aspects also have affects on the dungeon and combat parts of the game. Personas, which you acquire from your enemies via a conversation minigame, act as your various skillsets you can use in combat.

I want the ps4 emulator out now too. I can run the PS3 /alright/ on my current rig but there's a lot of stalling and sometimes you get multicolored bars on the screen during cutscenes on some titles.

I don't have a good rig but I've been testing the bios on a friend's PC (its rigged up as autistic as you can make it, his gfx card costed a grand and you need to keep this shit air-conditioner cooled) and this shit is silky smooth better than the console could hope to be.

I'm sure a normal gaming rig could do better than the ps4 does. I want consoles to die but we just need to wait for the bios to get cracked.

The special something was the Maiden, a poor wretch of a beauty on whom everything hanged to some extent or another, and you're left to figure it out.
It was simple. It was easy. It was dumb, sure, but the setting and lore was great. Nocturne dropped the tech in favor of really fleshing out the mechanics of the mainline series lore, and as bad as Strange Journey got it was still relatively in line. Just barely, but still. Then we get SMT4 and the wholly unwarranted sequel.

Production order.

You can play them in order, just know 2 → 3 is a huge change in terms of gameplay and tone.

It's best in release/production order, but if you want the best experiences it's both sides of Persona 2
and Persona 4.
Persona 2 especially, though.

The only thing going for this game is that it is actually fun. It's pretty and fun. The plot is meh, the overarching theme is stupid, the signature Persona are pretty hit-and-miss, and etc. The gameplay is annoying to me (and others) visually, but it plays fine. Overall, good music, decent characters (which are all retarded), genuine fun.

you can start with 3 if you just want to experience the modern formula though you could actually start with any as they are more or less self contained. just keep in mind that it is harder to go backwards because of the change in gameplay. Some people find the older games tedious and just watch them to catch up. a lot of people find the newer games tedious too
