What seems to be happening in Japan since 2014-15 is that console gaming is shrinking, both in console sales and game sales, while cellphone and MMO PC games are growing. PC game in general isn't changing much in volume, but relative to console, it is bigger than ever.
Let's just hope shitty MMO get more people to buy computers, kind of hard considering a lot of higher end hardware is expensive over there, but who knows, it might happen.
Their obsession over cellphone games is reaching some Korean-tier levels though, kind of worrying.

It is a "port" of the arcade version… not really a port since the arcade version already runs on Windows.
Textures look better than on the PS4, things are generally sharper and there are mods to have ripping clothes and improved physics (not to mention the nude mods look great and you can get all the DLC for free, something that would otherwise cost a fucking fortune).
Shit isn't good enough to justify getting it on a PS4 and paying for all that shit. PC is the best option for DOA 5, at least in my opinion.

if it makes you feel better a grand majority of the costumes don't look good and you can't even show them off online because if your opponent doesn't own them as well it'll just show up as one of the 2 default costumes
