Anyone here played this? I played the first one some and before I knew it the second one was out. Then I heard about some ASSFAGGOTS being made and I wondered why.
Apparently there never was an ASSFAGGOTS being made and instead some PvP version of the game which seems to be going down the shitter.

The first and the second are really worth playing. Really good, really funny, really well made even if by the end you can pretty much always use the same few traps to win(OMD1's ceiling maces+tar pits+paladins+archers wrecks anything)
The moba is not worth playing. Maybe if they bothered making it fun, or had it follow the gameplay style of the previous two games but have that expanded lore and characters aspect to it(apparently there's like a love triangle between the hero, the mage and someone else and new wizards and shit but I don't remember much of it) it might have been a really good game.
Unfortunately not.

Nuking PVP might salvage it, but it'll never be a good game. At best, it'll show they still care about the brand('s value) and will make an OMD3 when they get desperate.
Just play OMD2 until then. Hell, play OMD2 when that comes out too, because I doubt it'll be as good.

There are times where it's much easier to use the magic weaver to augment your spells in hard mode.
As for the third one, I've never used her.

Been a while since I played this, first game was pretty fun but I got stuck on 2 and haven't been back to it for ages. How do you deal with the bigger ones in it? I remember getting to a point where it would spawn big ones that just completely fucked my shit up by being so tanky that they could just tank everything I had.
Also who do people prefer playing as here? The warmage or the sorceress?
If you can get them at budget price, orcs must die 1 and 2 are surprisingly solid. I know there's a MOBA but apparently it's extremely DOA.

as for the big guys i just kinda headshotted them with the crossbow or if they are frost ogres or fire ogres I just shot them with the opposing element.
Warmage is way better. Infinite mana as long as you can headshot is broken as fuck.

Actually, just the force alone from that blow would snap the mouse's neck. Double so, considering that the helmet was meant for humans, and spreading pressure downwards, and mouse neck would receive the full blow.

There's literally no strategy in Dungeon Defenders. Its just WoW - The Tower Defense Game in that it's all about getting bigger numbers and hard countering enemies. OMD is all about planning your defense based on the mechanics of each trap and how they interact with eachother, the enemies, and the environment, to form huge combo kills.
If they look like this, leave them to orcs.
