For instance in the existing parties it is considered a requirement to wear a tie matching the party colour if you're wearing a tie. So tories wear blue and labour wear red.
But could this constitute a political uniform?

Jeans rarely work with shirts, at most with some striped shirts if ever. Also Jeans are absolute shit with sport coats, every dude who wears that combination is someone who wants to mix hip with business, but fails at both, choose either hip or choose business. If you wear a shirt + longcoat/sport coat, wear pic related kind of trousers, chino or khaki or something, even the newer skinny ones are still better than jeans.
