i've checked out a few different step guides, simple as adding files to the mod folder although when i do it none show up in game. also a lot of mods i've found say they won't work for pirated versions sigh

Depends what version you have.

Games4TheWorld confirmed works flawlesly, without any need for extra files. Just follow the instructions and you should have a working 1.67 version + any expansion you want.

You'll also need to put in the mod framework files for the mods to work.
Also, delete the scrips cache and possibly other cache files as well (depending on the the mods add)

the mod framework comes with a no intro mod to test if it works. If the EA intro movie is not showing, the mods should work.

I love the huge amount of mods for 3 and the expansions like boats, adventures (I mean sure I have to make some dangerous tombs and roleplay it a bit but its fun) Boats and diving, traits. Its all pretty fun but its such a big game and I'm on a small computer at the moment.

I wanna bring up a few things that bug me about The Sims 3: Into The Future, I know its old but I just started playing TS3 again, and these started bugging me again.

The futures feel like they're labelled wrong.

The "Normal" Future should be the Utopian one.

The "Dystopian" Future should be the middle of the road one.

And the "Utopian" future should be the dystopian one.

That might sound weird, but the "utopian" one feels like nightmarish hellscape where everyone including you is mind-controlled and on Soma so you can't see how bad it really is, the "Dystopian" one is the "Utopian" one but minus the creepy mind control drugs, so you can actually see how bad it is, and the "Normal" one is actually the Utopian one because there's nothing dirty and no one is creepily happy.

Also there's not enough of the "Rebel" stuff added by University in the "Dystopian" future I want protests and graffiti damn in my dystopia damn it!

Is it weird I made a rebel family and put them in the utopian one, tried to turn more sims into rebels and did a bunch of civil disobedience and ended up having another large family called the thought police who eventually imprisoned and starved the leader to death?

Still if they made a lot of the atmosphere rely on that and people didn't have university the places would end up looking boring or empty so they can't rely too much on inner-expansion-decor

But you can totally put stuff there yourself!

I usually end up massively redecorating worlds.

I've been woking on it, but its easier said than done. Especially when the game crashes and you lose all the grunginess you just added to the world.

Graffiti is the biggest pain in the ass to add, since you have to have a street art sim do it somewhere on the lot, switch to edit world, put it where you want it, switch back and then have the cops whine at you every 5 paintings or so.

Agreed, but Normal is the default state for the future since it doesn't have those distractions that dystopia and utopia has. And I'm pretty sure putting more cross expansion support on subworlds would cause even more bloat than there already is. It's probably better to find a custom world made out of mostly future shit but the only world I found that's like that is from a German site.

It has most of what you need (the original KW animations can be obtained either from LoversLab or >>>/hgg/24775 ) though if later versions of KinkyWorld gives you problems (like the entire fucking game freezes) you can either use the tweaked version of 2.6 (the old December build) or just use the modded version of Passion CLANG works right out of the gate with that one

Kinkyworld has stable and broken versions, usually if you stay one version behind the current Patreon one you'll rarely get any game breaking glitches. Animated Woohoo has more "vanilla" sex compared to KW (as in, no giant lesbian orgies in the middle of the town library) and Passion is just an animation pack.

If we're talking about Sims 3 only, then as far as I know Animated Woohoo stopped development, Passion is its spiritual successor and is best for CLANG and somehow enough people can get Kinky World to work despite its problems (or the problems they have is just the shit that's inherent with Sims 3 as a whole) and the frog that makes it is too busy collecting Patreon bux to give half of a shit.

It all boils down to pick what you want if it works. Passion and Kinkyworld were modded by others to be loli friendly. Passion is just sex and moodlets while KW has other features like exhibitionism and rape and /zoo/

Yeah, Sims 3 was shit technical wise, but some mods helps manage your saves a bit by deleting clutter. Sims 4 runs better but still has the same issues. Only difference is it take a while longer.

In passion when i try to click sex, one sim teleports behind the other for a moment the teleports back, then its over. In KW the other sim glitches into the other one even though it says its working. Dunno what I'm missing.

It's a wicked woohoo problem I believe, if you get MC command center you might be able to pause, click on your sim, and select the bathing outfit in the dresser module, though you would have to do that every time your sim gets naked

There's ooh smooth by Lumialover, which has better nipples, though unfortunately the left nipple doesn't line up

You won't find town square orgies due to sims needing a very high exhibition skill level to fuck in public, which most npcs don't achieve. School may be a different issue, I'm not too sure. I've never had classroom jerking sessions in my play time, but I've seen others have (but they may have used cheats to raise everyone's exhibition and horniness).

You can't really tweak how often the sex happens, but with exhibition skill levels and woohoo skill levels, you probably won't see too much of it going on. Rape is the only real exception to this as rapists overwrite the conditions, but you can turn rape off, or customize the percent chance of it happening (10% is default), and even then it only can occur at night.

G4TW comes with the latest patch included.
So it's 1.67 version.

If you follow instructions from their site, you can also easily use store content

IT depends on their arousal level, personality and woohoo/exhibition skill.

You can adjust arousal gain multipliers in the KW settings, as well as AI autonomy with kinky actions.

The longer the game goes on, the more pervert will a sim become, as long as you keep exposing him to such stuff.
If you have perverted teachers…well, they can give kinky lessons and accelerate the whole process in school.

Shit, that sounds great then. I was on the ropes as I was afraid of goofy shit but if the player has to force some degree of goofy degeneracy with little chance of it happening on its own And being a surprise when it does that sounds perfect.

That's all the reassurance I need then. I like mods that let you tweak them to your favor, all this means it won't ruin the mood of a current game with the ability to swap to something silly later.

The latest version is actually 1.69. However I belive it adds abosultely fuck all besides probably better Origin support or something and not anything important because generally EA doesn`t give a fuck about proper support unless shit hits the fan.

1.69 basically ties Sims 3 to Origin; you can't even do a direct EXE launch to bypass it. What's worse is that it completely breaks some of the first party creation tools.

So, there's no reason to ever install it. It just makes the game worse in all possible ways.

No one uses 1.69.
No mod I've seen so far requires it, so for all intents and purposes, it might not even exist.

From store worlds, I'd say Dragon Valley

For custom worlds, you can't beat Winchester Farming Community in performance. Dragon Island (Dragon Falls? or something like that) is nice too.

Core worlds…hmm.. Sunset Valley, Appaloosa Plain, Twinbrook

Core: Twinbrook is my personal favorite, the only real issue is that the water doesn't work with the IP water features, Sunset Valley is nice if you are willing to spend hours fixing up the lots so the features are available since they are plopped in very awkwardly, with stuff like the Consignement store being put in backwards out in the boondocks.

Custom: Dragon Falls is nice, but awfully outdated, but it got pretty good pathing that makes it bustle even with fairly low population, but the fact that it was made before IP really shows with the beaches, even manually adding beach lots is a hassle, but it doesn't need a shitload of custom content, which is a huge bonus.

Store: Hard to say, i really WISH that Lucky Palms was good since the "Las Vegas-knockoff" Concept is interesting but it just kinda lacks and the mix of desert and grass just doesn't work, i have never really bothered with Dragon Valley because the gimmick doesn't appeal (If i want Fantasy Sims i'd just play Medieval) but heard good things about it, Roaring Heights is worth considering just for being a City that isn't Bridgeport, but like with most "gimmick" store-worlds it ends up "breaking" when the aesthetics end up mixing.

I gave the new features a try. woohoo parties still seem finicky. A lot of people rejected the invite, leading to only 2-3 showing up. But when they were there, the sims asked each other for sex a lot.

As for nudist lots, it seems to work okay. For the beach, they kept changing their outfits (though would default back to nude when they had a chance). I think this was because swimming needed the swimwear outfit. However, with the nudist resort I made, they stayed naked the whole time.

So are there any good worlds that let me do pretty much everything? Looking through the official worlds it looks like i have to choose between clubbing or magic or boats etc.

I'd also like to find a good all-in-one-world.

If you want house boats you will have to pick one of the tropical island worlds but be warned they are some of the glitchest lag inducing maps ever, the game has massive pathing problems and moving homes only exacerbate the problem.

It's very hit and miss (especially if you use a Simbot) so it's easier in my case to use Time Traveler instead.

I assume you are only talking about the main menu one and not in game. There is a couple of tweaks that will make a small, if any reduction in loading times. From most likely/obvious to least: keep install size low (don't install every single expansion pack released for example), use a SSD, apply the 4GiB RAM config tweak, reseting the caches every so oftern. There was a Github project to create a 64bit wrapper however that stalled about a few years ago.

A fast SSD will help, but I dunno if you think a $100+ Samsung is worth the effort. Also a RAM Disk in conjunction with either an SSD or HDD install helps, as does combining your mods together if you go down that route.

Mods, it depends. There's a lot of nice asset mods if you know where to look but getting complete archives of them is a pain. You have to balance out world enhancement mods vs game performance so that makes it hard to suggest anything specific there.

There's a link to an expansion evaluation in the OP. I would say at the very minimum to install Seasons and Generations, followed by Ambitions, Late Night, and University if those interest you.

I'm not sure how much stuff packs affect load times, if at all. Most are not worth having anyways.

I checked MTS2 and strangely none of them have noticeable gussets. Keep in mind a lot of modders run the game at low settings and make custom clothes with pretty shit texture quality so even if they did put gussets on panties it would be barely visible or come out poorly.

Anyone making new worlds with the CAW? Making terrain maps isn't too hard; lots of free or cheap heightmap generators (Terragen 1, Bryce, L3DT, and so on).

Only thing that's sort of missing is atmospherics customization when you get down to it. Well, that and support for formats other than 16-bit grayscale PNGs.
