OP, I work in a major hospital in the US in an urban (read: nigged out) area. We are getting more and more tranny patients. They're all male to female and so far we haven't had one that is "post op" they're pre-op on hormones so they are very moody and very difficult to deal with.

Management is demanding that we refer to them as their preferred gender, the gender they wish to identify as. This gets confusing as we have basically a male, who is legally a male, biologically a male and looks like a man wanting to be called she/her/whatever. Then, the next day, they change their mind, decide they want off hormones, etc… then they're back to being a woman again.

I literally have a gay tranny with AIDs as a patient right now.

Staff attitudes: Most of us a really against this. We're just calling them "she" so they don't get set off and we can get through our day, we aren't doing it because of social justice or any of that, we're just doing what it takes to get through our day or night.
