Also it pains me that Luminous Engine is owned by SE as it's so fucking amazing it feels like the fox engine all over again,the road trip with your bros and chilling out camping with hotel hopping is cozy as fuck.

It's not amazing and neither was Fox, Every studio that uses it's own engine generally gets excellent optimization out of it, you're just buying into marketing rhetoric.
I don't get why a single person is excited for this game outside of being a die hard SE fanboy, haven't you endured enough disappointment from the last decade of Final Fantasy game? What does being open world even mean for this game? How big is the overworld and are the cities anything nice?

I just watched the movie, and was pleasantly surprised.
Square's movie making ability has really improved. Kingsglaive was much better than the last 2 FF 3D movies.
That's not to say that Kingsglaive is a great movie, it's not. Maybe it's on par with your generic action movies.

the devs also stated interest in the game on the PC earlier except they wanted to "rebuild the game for the platforms hardware"
i have been a bit mystified by square enix recently, i do wish they focus more on the actual game part of the game, or at least not take so many resources away from projects currently in development for this one oversized endeavor

I have a feeling this isn't going to be as popular as they are hoping. None of my normalfag friends are talking about it and all my friends who are into more obscure titles only care about Persona 5. By trying to reach all the audiences it seems this game has failed to reach any. I'm really not even that interested in it, and I've waited 9 years for this game.
Probably why they also think it will sell 10 million copies.
