I think I might have to bump Stronghold off my 3x3 as I played Silent Hill 2 this year and it was amazing.

I have to ask just to be sure because I've always been wondering how this retarded rating system works. Are you saying you played 7 of the games in the OP and only liked 3 of them?

I tried to be as honest as possible this time, my last one somewhat avoided games Holla Forums hates in favor of stuff like E.Y.E. or Mountain Blade (I still love those games but if I can only choose 9 then they gotta go).

I'm very much intrigued by the title "The World Ends With You", in what way would you recommend it?

6/7, I didn't really get into Payday but I didn't dislike it either. I liked the rest except I haven't played Nightfire or Blood Money.

1/2, love Morriwnd and I'd like to say that I love JSR just on the music and visuals, but I hate the gameplay compared to most of the Tony Hawk games. It feels too clunky and simplistic.

2/2, Mirror's Edge was fun and I just barely got into DMC3/4. Not dying is pretty easy but the only time I've gotten an S-rank on anything was in a room full of puppet dudes in 4 while playing as Nero. I cannot into Dante.

You're gonna need some titles here, fam. I'm not sure what Metal Gear game #3 is, what Mario game #4 is, or what MM game #9 is. I really like Morrowind and Half Life though so 2/2.

Definitely. Once you hit the Dinosaur stage you're free to evolve your body any way you like. The human body is really just an easter egg.

EVO has a whole bunch of really neat secrets in it, like the Dragon, hidden levels, tons of neat shit.

Creative gameplay which requires attention to git gud but you don't have to master it to have fun, a lot of replayability and a really nice story tying the characters and scenarios all together
and some really fun minigames too

I feel like "Favourite games of each genre" is better than a generic Top 10 list.
For example, how does one handle sequels? My 3x3 could very well have had 4 slots held my Mega Man Zero and the rest of the slots filled with fighting games.

Hard to deny that 3x3s are ineffective as they are, though.

The society in Columbia is incredibly interesting; I always wondered how America would look if we took the ideals of the founder's to heart and Columbia is almost exactly that.
The intro is spectacular *it brought me to tears the first time I played it*
The gameplay gets kind of repetitive but that's okay because the scenery is ever-changing and always amazing to look at.
The story was okay, but definitely not the highlight of the game. The dialogue was fantastic, every character was well-written.
I don't know why the game gets so much hate here *oh wait yes I do, it gets so much hate because it's a good sequel that's popular and well-reviewed*

I think it's fair to have HL2 given that I put it in mine too

It has some of the best art direction and audio design in sci fi, and with SMOD and something to skip the "not cutscenes" the gameplay is actually quite good. I even prefer SMOD to FEAR even though the guns still don't feel quite as meaty and the enemies don't react as strongly. But SMOD's bullet time actually lets you ninja around and dodge bullets whereas FEAR's is mostly just good to help you aim.

Also you're in no position to criticize people for liking HL2 given that you have Undertale and Halo. I also like Halo 1 but come on man, vanilla HL2 has some problems but at least it doesn't have regenerating health, lots of backtracking, and actual cutscenes

Half Life 2 is a boring and pretentious piece of crap that did more damage to the genre than CoD 4. At least Halo paced it's action scenes well. Halo did the best possible attempt of translating the Arena shooter gameplay to a console. Half Life 2 expanded on the boring story/puzzle areas of Half Life 1, instead of going for full-blown action like OpFor. There's a reason why OpFor is the best HL game.
