Reducing the statutory level to 45,000-50,000 is better than 110,000, but in real terms not a significant difference. As it stands, normal naturalization/green card and H1B quotas are at the same levels as last year (and H2B visas are actually higher under Trump, going from 66,000 to 81,000.)

The reality is that while you cannot say that Trump has thrown overboard his immigration policies, so far not much has really changed.
