harvey or selina?
bump
i think nothing, because i don't play telltale games
did you seriously think this thread was a good idea?
I didn't even realise they had released an episode 1.
Is this any good? Gotta say that Minecraft bullshit killed any interest I had for Telltale.
It's actually kind of a neat take on Batman. I like that Bruce Wayne is more of a character himself, and I like the idea that the Wayne's were actually just as dark and corrupted as everything else in Batman, which makes sense, since Thomas Wayne was shown to be the polar opposite of Bruce if he survived that night in Crime Alley.
So far, it's okay. Far from Telltale's worst but that's not saying much. I would have preferred a second season of TWAU
Literally zero reason to not save Harvey, it literally prevents another villain from being created and we all know there's no way they're going to kill Selina off yet. She'll do the Telltale thing where she'll be really butthurt for all of one sentence and then the game continues as normal.
I have no Batman related images on my computer.
Telltale has different teams working on different properties I think. This was made from the same guys who did Tales of the Borderlands which is arguably the best Borderlands game and the best thing they've done since S1 of TWD. It's a solid okay/10 so far.
Would still recommend you pirate over purchase.
It's a Telltale game that has received little traction, praise or even recognition from the usual suspects. What do you think that means user?
I give them credit for doing their own thing instead of just aping the shitty comics for easy capecuck money. Still the same old Telltale shit "gameplay" though.
already dropped, thanks for the heads up OP
Has Broteam streamed it yet?
Now I was a fan of that game, but come on they fucked up the last seasons hard.
I haven't played their games, is it anything like the movie? Because in that case I would go for harvey.
Well I have watched the first 2:20 mins of that yt video and I already dislike it. I am a fan of Nolan's batman. I would prefer it if he was a bit more darker (e.g. fighting himself to keep his dark side hidden) but I think overall he is the best batman I saw so far.
This guy is imo to nice for my taste.
Its shit
why do you guys hate telltale? Did they do some sjw bullshit that I missed? I mean their games are not that good, e.g. your choices barely matter. But with the shit games we get the last few years I would say that they are above average.
I don't hate Telltale but above average is being increadibly generous. They're games all about the story, completely void of any meaningful gameplay, Even when you have QTE action sequences you can't fail them 90% of the time and despite the complete removal of any actual depth mechanically, leaving them with nothing but the storytelling, they can't even do that right most of the time.
Season 1 of TWD had 4 good episodes, TWAU had two, TFTB is alright until Burch joined the writing team and started sticking his cuckstick in the game Still managed to enjoy the actual narrative when the shoehorned lesbian stuff wasn't on display GOT is only good when you're playing as Asher or Rodrik, and Season 2 of TWD and Minecraft are so unbearably terrible that not even hardcore Telltale fans enjoy them.
They're still leagues above most movie games, like pic related, but let's not start singing Telltale's mediocre praises alright?
But do you WATCH them? No one on here actually plays telltale, it's just a movie at this point, with different versions based on how others play, but with the same conclusion.
Okay I see your points. Now that I think about it, when I bought TWD back then I was also pretty disappointed, I dropped it as soon as I got control over that black guy and noticed that it is basically a browser game.
When I bought it back then I thought it would be a normal game like Left 4 Dead 2 or Killing Floor but with a focus on survival and shit like that. But I got back into the game because of the story. Which as I said above wasn't that great either because your actions don't impact the story at all to be honest.
In the end of the day I am a guy who likes watching movies and because of that I also enjoyed playing TWD and TWAU.
I guess these are the reasons why it retrieves so much hate. Because I doubt that everyone here who says that they are bad has actually played them or watched them on yt, I think some of you just hate them because of those two.
Season 1 is actually a little better about this than a lot of Telltale's games. The choice between Carly and Doug changes quite a bit, and the consequences for your actions are less about the overall narrative and more about how the characters around you felt about you as a person.
Look at how divisive the playerbase is on Kenny as a character. That's because he treats Lee wildly differently depending on the choices you make around him. I think he's an asshole who's mental instability makes him really dangerous, but he's also incredibly loyal and the most proactive member of the group. I had a mixed opinion, some think he's Jesus reincarnated, others hate his fucking guts.
That was actually kind of impressive. Their later games don't do this nearly as well.
Telltale is pretty much the only good story-based game group out there. Life is Strange had a lot of potential but got shat to hell by inept debs and Tumblrina characters. Telltale hasn't made a "great" game since Season 1 of TWD. Every game has usually started off good since then, but they fall apart halfway through. TWAU, like you said, had 2 good episodes. TWDS2 even had a good first episode. GoT, never played it. Tales was pretty good if you overlook the bugs and Burchism.
I've only heard shit about Batman, though.
So far I have only saved Doug, what changes if you save Carly instead? I checked yt and they both die anyway.
About Kenny, idk he was always nice to me, but I think it was shitty of him to give me shit for not siding with him when we were locked in that room, we should have tried saving that fat motherfucker.
I think the problem is that they wait to long for each episode. This gives the community time to figure out what will happen next and then they have to rewrite their shit, ending in a worse episode. But if they released all at once the game would be to short.
I guess as far as dedicated teams who reliably put out frequent products go, that's accurate. I've played games with better stories that take precedence but nobody puts them out with the same amount of frequency TT does, even then, the stories themselves are not exactly great. Any story that stumbles and never recovers halfway through is something I'd hesitate to call good in the best of circumstances. The reason I'm harder on Telltale in this instance for having a mediocre story is because they slice out everything else that might make their game, you know, a game, and still can't actually tell a decent narrative. Even TWDS1 had some moments that made it feel like an adventure game.
I think that's mostly because of the horrible state it was in at launch, barely playable. From what I watched of it on YT it does some interesting stuff with Bruce as a character that most Batman media hasn't really tried, and season 2 ends with a choice that feels like it could actually change things pretty wildly depending on the outcome.
Quite a lot changes. Every interaction with Carly is pretty much an entirely different converstation, a lot of scenes change in subtle ways depending on which one you have with you, and Lee's relationship with Carly is pretty different than his buddyop with Doug.
During the shootout in episode 3, rather than the cans, Carly will take a more proactive route and cover one side of the RV for you, which means you don't have to actively jump back and forth between them.
Also, another thing that got worse about TT, they dumbed down the action sequences in their later games. Even with how janky the combat was in TWDS1, at least they threw you into something resembling gameplay for a bit and were kind of entertaining. Every action sequence since then that they've made has been exactly the same. Move cursor press X, or jab thumbstick up.
This as well, it's what ruined TWAU. So much is set up in episode 1 that is then dropped that it practically sank that game. Such a shame, they need to stick to their guns and stop shifting teams around mid-way through every season.
Also if you're going to do episodic releases, stick with your fucking schedule. Five-six months between an episode is unforgivable.
Nice codex for it is out
I liked that you didn't have to be a pussified Batman in the first episode. Other than that it was standard Telltale-fare and you didn't even need to press the buttons for the QTEs.
Huh?
which is why I haven't bought anything after twau. I had bought TWD after they released all episodes and didn't knew anything about the long ass time between these episodes.
I hate waiting, and it's worse if I wait for something I paid for.
Shut the fuck up, autismo.
Before the kike started shoving his fucking nose into everything people actually did decide what vidya was discussed
Go back to >>>/cuckchan/
Bullshit.
I sat through all of GoT, and was never more disgusted at a game for being so shit. Modern Telltale has like 2 decent games, and the rest are like absolute trash.
If you want not shit story games, Sorcery! is leagues better than any of telltale games.
Even the Choice of games stuff have more hits than misses.
that ending, good grief man, what a cliffhanger, they should have really given us another season of TWAU
one of you tried the comic books? Do they continue where the game stopped? Is there a way to pirate them for free?
TellTale are now those faggots who pump out "games" constantly in an attempt to stay relevant because they know they won't ever reach the amount of praise they got from TWDS1 and just want some attention. Reminder they managed to pump out EIGHT episodes of Minecraft: Train Wreck I don't even know if that shit has ended yet. Anyone who praises them or even gives them the time of day unironically should be shot.
the game is set like more than 15 years before the main comic series begins

Well I just remembered that I hate reading. Thanks for the link anyway. Is there any rule34 of snow by the way? Or nude patches?

any rule 34 website should have it. just type in "fables" as your keyword
No thanks.
it worked, so far I searched for snow and snow white and that didn't deliver any good results.
Ofc Harvey, why would you save some fucking slut who wouldn't even kiss you ;-;
For some reason female heroes are always whiny brats. They have no morality, they follow no rules, they can fuck up as much as they want people always forgive them.
that would be sexist and women are perfect
at least it can't get any worse
i hear they'll be doing a Lumberjane title
I expected a point and click adventure game with some good puzzles every now and then with a good story where your choices matter, not a fucking third person walking simulator where you just fucking watch an ok movie.
"Muh Clementine, muh Kenny, muh i cri evritim" faggots that fucking clogged halfchan back in the day with their super easily impressed nigger minds should be slapped in their nigger faces.
Telltale literally made a minecraft "game"
I agree. I honestly wanted to like it, but the "puzzles" are insanely condescending and easy. There's no challenge at all in these games, and with the same fucking art style in all of their games to boot, this cell-shaded shit. Maybe if they updated their engine to look modern I'd give some of their shit another go, but it's basically a money-printing machine to them anyway so why bother.
yeh, they totally had the ability to actually make Batman look really good, especially on PS4 the Xbox one.
It's not good.
It still had more and better mechanics, as well as doing a better job at remembering your choices, even if they didn't matter. Sticking "this character will remember this :^)" to every other dialogue and then never actually having them remember any of that shit is infuriating. As far as gameplay and mechanics in general go, LiS was better than any Telltale game up to date.
Who gives a shit.
i think its like a cash cow, i mean the writing is mediocre at best.
considering how many of you are pedophiles it wouldn't surprise me if many of you really cried and loved her.
a few years ago I would have said that I am not sexist, but by now I fully admit it.
I hate woman in movies and games unless they are there for my entertainment. E.g. good looking woman that get rescued, obey their male rescuers and shut the fuck up about their rights and shit.
I love all things Batman, and if there's any medium that's best suited to a sort of choose your own adventure visual movie type game, it's comic books.
That said, the fact that it uses Telltale's super lazy "semi-cell shaded" style that's the same now in every fucking one of their games, and the weird janky Telltale animations put me right off. Not to mention the "choices mean shit this time, seriously!" line is almost certainly horseshit just like always. Telltale are really low effort these days.
I gave up on telltale when it took them more than 4 months to release the third? episode of GoT. Deleted all my saves and never playing their games again
the games shoulld have more choices and be more divergent.
I play an episode once, because i have no motivation to play it anymore
This is why the Japanese games industry is superior.
nah
Replaying TWAU now, raping Snow should definitely be an option in the game. Seriously, would you not want to turn into a werewolf and rip her clothes off and spank that tight ass?
