Off the top of my head, games I know of that approach genuinely mature topics with anything resembling tact are

And that's all I can think of. Games are usually fine with copious amounts of violence and death but anything sexual is usually met with hesitance at best.
How many R rated films cover rape, child soldiers, or human trafficking?
"Mature themes" will never be properly addressed in games and that's ok. Games are stuff you do when you're on a mental vacation. People prefer to be entertained rather than engaged.

TAKEN was originally R-rated in Europ right? I think it got edited down to PG-13 for the States.
