Weightlifting or the revolution

Does anyone here lift weights or do other exercise to prepare for the revolution?

I started lifting to help with depression and it worked wonders at the time. That was a few years ago but when I go to lift now I am motivated by imagining how strong I will be to bash the fash. This thought led me to start taking judo classes. I now mostly focus on judo and compound exercises like deadlift and squat in order to be as strong and conditioned as possible. I urge all of Holla Forums to not be complacent with your physical conditioning, lift so you can cave in some nazi skulls when the time comes!

I broke my shoulder 8 months ago and I haven't lifted since then, I had been lifting for about a year before that.

i do various exercises with dumbells and general ones at home, slowly you notice the difference and it does wonder physically, mentally and sexually.

Lifting is good and all, but you gotta do cardio to be useful as a soldier. Pack up a backpack full of rocks and go run around. TBH you should prioritize understanding strategy and logistics over lifting as well. Leadership would be the primary target of counterrevolutionary forces; best defense against that is for the common soldiers to be ready to step in. Good military forces know how to properly delegate anyway. Delegating tasks/decisions to the best people is arguably the most important job of military commanders.

I lift weights and exercise but I do *not* focus on getting "swole." That "this is what peak male performance looks like" meme exists for a reason, and wannabe underwear models who can't run the mile or haul gear up a hillside and need to eat specialty niche diets that would almost certainly be impossible to keep up under revolutionary circumstances to maintain their physical appearance are not revolution-minded fitness enthusiasts.

If you want to "get swole" or "get aesthetic", you either want to get laid or intimidate other men into respecting you. Revolution is not your true aim.

Eh. TBH if a woman sees a bodybuilder and a fit man both attempt physically demanding tasks, the fit man is the one who will make her wet because he will show that he's actually competent instead of just showy. So being actually fit is still the path to getting laid if that's what you're after.

I know there's a lot of people out here who have nothing nice to say about feminism, but inasmuch as shit like that survey goes there's probably some point to commentary that men don't listen to women even when they're being as direct as they can be.
