Otis did that to me multiple times or when I was rushing for a story scoop. Old bastard made me feel so rushed I lost my nerve entirely. I dodge roll far more as my fingers move really quickly so I end up pressing keys in rapid succession and the game takes that as it normally would. I can't do any melee attacks however, I practiced trying to get a few to work but I only got a few to do anything. Some were don't press movement keys and s+mouse button and spacebar. Anyways after two attempts to be the final boss I just rage quit and it's been sitting for a few days, I beat him on the Xbox eventually but I just end up fucking dodge rolling everywhere and it killed me on my first attempt.

That's so stupid and I feel bad for laughing at it.

If you let go of a key and are about to press it again, try hitting a different key first. The game won't count it if you hit something else after the key you just let go of.
