Up until 4, the biggest changeups were in Formula Front and Nine Breaker
One is the same fucking game with a ridiculously obtuse control gimmick(that they gave up on in the PSP port), and the other is the same fucking game but with more arena combat instead of missions

Same could be said for a number of From's series.
King's Field, Souls, and Armored Core aside, most of their IPs got abandoned after two, maybe three games if they're lucky.

ps2 emulation is pretty good these days. All of the armored core games are working flawlessly on the most recent pcsx2 update.

Given From's recent track record, AC6 will probably have a PC port

Soulscucks can always just go play Dragon's Dogma, or Nioh, or any other "Soulslike" crap

ACfags have literally nothing else. We need more Armored Core because its the only decent mecha game to reach the west.

Say what you want about the quality of the games, even the shittiest ones far and away surpass any other mecha game from the same generation.

I would love to see a game that uses the same style of combat, as simplistic as it was, and expands on it. It was satisfying to throw people through walls. Not as skillful as DMC, or the like, but it could offer a proper challenge.
