They are not "light guidelines", they outright state that we shouldn't be having any political threads, any semblance of template threads (10 variations in 10 minutes, each getting an entire thread instead of a post in the original thread like we used to), anything off-topic, as in not television or movies, no advertising, like 20 Star Wars threads constantly, no e-celebs like Logan Paul as they are not Holla Forums related, no porn dumps etc.
The BO doesn't stick by their rules, and they really should, because cleaning up this place from the rampant spamming and shitposting would make the normal level of shitposting actually funny once again. Plus, proper discussions about Holla Forums topics more than once a day or two is a crime, as most of the anons that come here are very well versed in those topics and can articulate themselves well.
