It might be better to just farm the eyeballs for tokens instead if you can't handle it, and maybe donate meat for that special boss 2 times a day.

How do you guys grind for crystals? I imagine a fair amount of you are high ranked; is there some thing later on that's for easy crystal grinding?

Just do all the events and login every day.

As for actually grinding crystals, there really isn't anything like that. There's a few raids that can drop crystals but the materials required for said raids almost make it not worth it.

I think that's just a height and boob chart, so doesn't really go into any of the details of the face and body too much.

Every traditional event has about 200-500 crystals to grind out, so across events you can slowly stack up a decent amount.

Include in the random achievements that you fufill, Cygames screwing up and giving out apology crystals and completing story/map quests for crystals and you should have at least a 10-roll for every legfest.

The thing is that this shitty DO event and cancelled Arcanum shit had very little rewards at all, let alone crystals, so this time round I think most players will be a bit short.

How quickly do they roll out new content? I realize there's a lot of story/map events, and the events give out a bit. But at some point are you just expected to pay them money if you want to get rolls within a reasonable timeframe?

mostly character wise the rest is a grind and some story character are still pretty good (event charactes too)

IF and i say IF idolmaster event returns that's a good way of getting good/decent characters quickly

If it does return and they pop in a new character it'll be 4 SR characters at one shot.

Though, looking up their sets they don't see all that great.

It's slightly more complicated, you'd need to run browser tab in MOBILE MODE and then enter granblue, and from that you could enter the idol game and if would work the same way, but I lost the link I used for mobile version of granblue(the new one doesn't work this way)

that said, if you actually use a phone to play granblue(through browser, not the app) you can still get into the idol game that way, and because you are logging THROUGH granblue your account will getsynced and you don't have to worry about losing progress
Same applies for Rage of Bahamut but in that case you can ONLY do it through phone

Is there a faster way to grind casino chips other than poker?

A good player will easily and consistently make 1m chips at poker per hour. Not only is it the fastest, but by far - the other two games offer profits on extremely long shots (a super bingo is 1/1250 bingos, let alone games)

1000 chip poker is currently the safest and quickest way to amass chips. You could also try playing max bet bingo, but prepare to lose a lot.

Albert actually just got a cross fate episode that boosts his attack by 600. Considering Albert double attacks every turn at the minimum, that's a huge attack power increase.

Jeanne won't get a 5th star because she's already too good and there's other light characters that need reworking to be viable.

This is the most likely scenario, my bets being on De La Fille.

IIRC they've mentioned within the last few months that they were trying to balance the game, which is why the more recent 5*s have been given to the 'weaker' characters.

I think they changed that very recently. I remember some notes of a recent update mentioned that a bunch of exclusive characters were gonna be added the pool

they recently reintroduced ALL limited cahracters (except themed characters like summer , new year , halloween etc..)

the only characters exclusive to legfest are story characters SSR and monkey

It really depends on what you need, if you already have a fair ammount of SSR's to build teams on few elements and just want to finish one element, rolling on element rate ups would be the best, I wont be really touching legfests now so I can get gems for Six and once Iget him, roll on dark ups for Vampy

no, you actually get a pick from the stones ON TOP of the 300 rolls, you're guaranteed to get what you want with certain limits on event characters and other small exceptions.
If you just spend the 90k across the whole year you'd just get the 300 rolls, doing it all at once means you get the pick whatever the fuck you want with 300 sparks as a extra gift.

Okay, so I finally bothered to read the guides in the pastebin, but they still haven't answered some of the questions that nag me. Primarily: where do good weapons/characters/summons even come from? I know the 10-pull at legfest is probably the answer, but that begs the question: where do those thousands of crystals come from? From what I see, 50 at a time is pretty slow in terms of 30k+ at time of legfest I've seen suggested, and quest clear rewards are one-time things. What's the renewable resource here?
Maybe most importantly: how does a rank 31 scrub who can't scratch the level 30 enemies (with the exception of the Normal Tiamat raid, I'm not THAT inept) that every event I've tried to take part in love so much start being competent without relying on if there's an uncapped Grand Order support summon available?
More info: I know the Dark Fencer is in every guide's suggestions and am working toward it; I have like 4400 chips in the casino, I just don't have the patience for hours of poker and being screwed over by 8-(anything). Seriously, that gets me angry more than 3-2 or K-A.

good characters comes mainly from 10 pulls and rarely from events and/or guild wars grinding

dark fencer is mainly advised cause mist gravity and delay are super useful and make bosses special attack a lot less so you don't die like a bitch on third turn. in this event farm normal eyeballs or if you can handle it hard eyeballs if you get even one weapon your job this time is done

You can expect one 10-pull draw per month if you're casually playing, two if you're really on the ball for at least the first few months. The renewable resource typically comes from events and betting on Guild Wars. Always save for legfest draws, because that's where you'll probably get your SSRs (and big boosts to your party composition power).

It takes a while to start being "competent." The Rank 30s were the section that I hated the most, even though I had started to put a Light party together, because that's where you just can't really do anything. Your step going forward is to do Omega raids as frequently as possible - if you have an SSR that's good at all, then focus on the Omega of the element of that SSR. This is why guides suggest rerolling - so that you can have a good focus for when you start. Otherwise, legfest should be coming up very soon and with a single 10-pull you have a good shot at getting an SSR. If you don't? tbh just start rerolling imo fam.

Good characters will come primarily from the gacha. Sometimes you can nab a good event character (like Barawa from a recent event isn't half-bad as an SR attacker) but for the good SSRs you need the gacha. That means you are at the mercy of RNGesus. Weapons and summons come from the game's actual grind, and is MOST of your relative power. Starting with Omegas - pick an element, preferably based on a good SSR you already have. Failing that? Go for Wind. Omegas can drop SR and SSR weapons, some of which will have the "Skill" (Magna) Attack Up. You want to make almost a full grid of these Attack Ups (6-7 per element, ideally) and THEN start uncapping them - the SRs are plentiful in the long-run. Note: Light and Dark Omegas don't drop SRs with Attack Up! Your end-game goal is to have several duplicates of fully uncapped SSR Magna Weapons with Attack Up, a Bahamut Weapon or two, and some Event Weapons.

Dark Fencer is irrelevant to the casino, but do pick it up, as it's the best class for soloing.

Get used to the Casino. Don't be a fucking scrubby shitter casual that whines about bad luck, we all get bad luck. The way to win at poker is to play FAST and with the statistically best options. You can easily do 1 million chips an hour, and that one hour will buy your Half Elixirs and Soul Berries for most of the month. Ideally you want to do ~13m a month for all the goodies.

The guild wars characters are probably the strongest characters in game but the only way to get them is by farming a lot granblue-wiki.com/index.php/Guild_Wars_Characters

You have several choices to farm weapons: Omega Raids, Bahamut, Guild War and Events.

Farmed weapons are better than most gacha weapons.

You get them from events, the weekly showdowns and the gacha.

You can perform good with free summons but some gacha drops are just way better, specially for Dark/Light.

You farm co-op, raids, story mode, extra missions, challenge missions, events and GW.

You could probably get 2 or 3 10-draw monthly if you are active.

Suck it up, nobody likes the casino but the rewards are too good to be ignored.

Boosted angel halo time changes every day but if you favorite the mission you will be able to keep tabs from your favorites list.

What are the drop rates for the revenant weapon? It took me 1300 tokens just to get one and grinding for tokens is fucking horrible.

On my first Guild War i dropped a six ruin fist on the first roll (single rolls) of the first 2 boxes.
On the last one i didnt manage to get one until i emptied the whole box.

I managed to MLB one weapon each on my first two guild wars, then this 3rd one took me 3 guild wars to MLB.

It's all RNG in the end.

Mobage is the "original" service and the easier to register for(you can just use google account and voila), GREE is some other platform and as far as I can tell you can't register for it outside of japan, which is a shame because to my understanding GREE users got 10-roll tickets when theoption became avalaible

Hell, I got a SR axe from a normal Tiamat raid earlier today, so I think that's enough motivation to keep trudging for the time being. It's also nice to know that this is the GBF analogue to that one point in ANY rpg where accessible content polarizes itself into "piss-easy" or "untouchable" without hardly any in-between.
The only gripe I have about the casino isn't luck (i've experienced enough rng trolling to be moderately immune to it) but more the fact that two-card doubleup showing an 8 has no statistically best option as far as i can tell, and that irritates my autism more than any "bad luck" I might have. Powering through and breaking 10k chips is a big motivator, though.
Besides, there's apparently a story event coming up, so I'll be looking forward to fumbling around in it, too.

Not the same user, but if this eyeball farming can benefit other people, it'd be nice to know. It might also do well to have some stable co-op options, so I'll throw my proverbial hat in.

Why are you farming GW user? if you can't solo the bosses you are simply not going to get enough honor to get decent rewards.

You should probably focus on grinding crystals instead since the legfest is around the corner.

Showing an 8 on Double Up should have a statistically best option because, as far as I've paid attention (which is several hours) you don't get duplicate cards in Double Up, which means each card is removed from the deck as you continue playing. Under this theory, the statistically best option is easily derived from counting cards in this manner:

Start at 0
2~7 = -1
9~A = +1

A negative total means that there are more cards higher than 8 than there are cards lower than 8. Likewise, a positive total means that there are more cards low than 8 than there are cards higher than 8.

Additionally, a total of +/- 5 means that there are more cards lower than 7/higher than 9 than the reverse (respectively to plus/minus).

I beg to differ. It is possible for the facedown card to show the same value as the faceup, in which case the round is a "Draw." The next round starts with the same faceup card. My reasoning is that in any given round where 8 is shown faceup, the facedown has the following possible results:
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (6 total possibilities "Lower")
8 (1 possibility of "Draw")
9, 10, J, Q, K, A (6 total possibilities "Higher)
This assumes that every value has an equal chance of appearing on the facedown card. (This may be inaccurate given koon's video on the subject, but since there isn't any hard data to work with, I'll continue with my assumption for now.)
Now, from this, we can calculate that there is a 6/13 or ~46% chance of the facedown showing a value "Lower" than 8, and also a 6/13 or ~46% chance of the facedown showing a value "Higher" than 8. There is also a 1/13 or ~8% chance of the facedown being a second 8, or a "Draw."
All of this means that whichever option you select when shown an 8 has less than 1 in 2 odds of being "correct," so there is no statistically optimal selection when the faceup card is an 8.
If any other anons care to weigh in and correct my math, then please do. If being wrong here means that I can clear this annoyance from my life, then I've never been more okay with being shown wrong.

Uh, the round is a "Draw" because there are four copies of each card, respective to the suits. I have never seen, for example, a 2 of Clubs followed by a 2 of Clubs.

So assuming you start with an 8 of Diamonds, you have the followings cases:

24/51 chance of Lower (6 numbers * 4 suits)
3/51 chance of Draw (1 number * 3 suits)
24/51 chance of Higher (6 numbers * 4 suits)

But if we were to start with a 2 of Clubs, then go on to that 8 of Diamonds, your real chances are:

23/50 chance of Lower (5 numbers * 4 suits + 1 number * 3 suits)
3/50 chance of Draw (1 number * 3 suits)
24/50 chance of Higher (6 numbers * 4 suits)

Thus, the statistically best option is to pick Higher. The easier way to count your running total is by a +/- system where each range of cards has a particular value, as I pointed out in an earlier post.

The only way that this is wrong is given proof that you CAN see Exact Duplicate cards, which ever since I started paying attention, I have never seen a single Duplicate show up.

That makes enough sense, but assumes that each round has an effect on subsequent rounds, and that, for example, neither of the cards used in round 1 could be seen again in round 2, and none of those four cards could appear in round 3. I don't think that this is the case, since I've experienced two subsequent rounds that drew 4-4, then 4-4 again, and finally 4-(can't remember), demonstrating the game's ability to pull at least 5 cards of the same value, and the same value and suit in 2 instances. If the way to achieve a statistical advantage on a faceup 8 is by counting cards as you describe (or at least as I think you describe, my reading comprehension could just be annoyingly off today), that'd be great, but I find myself doubting the methodology.

I think you're misunderstanding something slightly that proves each round affects subsequent rounds:

You only see one new card each round aside from the first round. Over the course of 10 Rounds, you will only see 11 Cards total.

Let's say you start with a 2 of Clubs on Round 1, so you bet Higher. The card flips, and it shows an 8 of Diamonds. That means the next card you are betting against is without a doubt an 8 of Diamonds.

So when you say you've experienced rounds that drew 4-4 then 4-4 and finally 4-X, you've actually only seen THREE of the four suits of 4 Cards. You actually saw 4A-4B then 4B-4C and finally 4C-X. Considering that you didn't know that the flip card is the next card you bet against, I would say you probably haven't paid enough attention to suits to know for certain that you actually saw a Duplicate Suit card return as a flip card.

Now, I've played Poker long enough to make 20 million chips off of it. I can tell you that, within the Poker game itself, the cards you throw away from the first five will not come back. This means that the cards are removed from play until the next time you hit "Deal."

Throughout that time, since I started paying attention, I have never noticed receiving a duplicate card of duplicate suit throughout Double Up. At this point, it's not an assumption - I have collected enough data points to be very certain that cards are removed from play after you bet against them and win.

You can ignore it for now, but I'd recommend keeping it in mind and at least gathering a few things. Saves you a lot of time in the long run. Guild War characters are arguably the best characters in the game and totally worth getting though some are obviously better than others

Eh, the rainbow crystals aren't so hard to get if you do a lot of raid mashing. You can also trade for 10 daily from Sierokarte's shop.

Hardest part for me was those fucking blue sky crystals. Be sure to do your daily co-op missions and start saving up now.
