Creating fake social media profiles where you have a face or name of a protected class will no longer be enough.

I guess this might count as "hacktivism" if we stretch that to mean a few different things. This is more like reverse engineering the meta data that makes up ads and pointing out that there is no real way to secure meta data authenticity.

It's like phones self-reporting their GPS to a server.. .the server just has to accept that the device isn't lying. Meta data has the the same thing and, from what I can tell, always will.

From what I know, there is no law that says your meta data has to be offered up to Silicon Valley with honest intentions. If there is, I can modify the approach to comply with the law.

It's not something I've heard suggested before, and is a step beyond what we have been doing for years. Even better, many of us already have social media accounts that would be associated with protected groups, and for those it is as simple as starting to post nationalist and anti-globalist content right away.
Since everyone here should already have half decent OPSEC (at least a VPN) shouldn't be an issue since the accounts aren't tied to our real identities.
