My dad used to play racing games sometimes when I was around 10 years old. Maybe a dozen times in total so it was never really a thing. Mom only ever played Tetris and Mahjong/Shanghai when I was young, hasn't played anything in a decade as far as I know. My little sister is disabled, wants to play games but can't. Pokemon Go and some other mobile games are simple enough but anything that requires buttons or fast reaction is out of the question because of her fucked up hands.

I've never even considered what it would feel like to have family members that play video games let alone ones that have half the interest in them that I have.

My 9-year-old cousin used to play Minecraft, but now he only watches cancerous youtubers playing Minecraft. He also saw cancerous youtubers playing Yandere Simulator and now he's obsessed with it and is desperately trying to get it. I'm not even trying to stop that kid anymore, since he never ever listens. He's the fucking embodiment of Aspergers. I kinda want to see what happens when his autism goes unchecked, since his parents don't care.
