Out of curiosity, I checked the 4cuck draw threads on Holla Forums a few months ago. The worst 8/v/ draw threads don't even compare to how awful they are. It's wall-to-wall bad requests of every type with few to no deliveries, over and over again until the end of time. The media you use is not that important, but if you are able to do it on paper you probably will be able to do in digital. Now, remember, practice realistic drawing, anatomy, learn to do it correctly first and stylized later.

Stuff you learn drawing traditionally translates to digital better than digital to traditional. Learn them both together, but spend your time experimenting and trying new shit in a real sketchbook.

copic bleeds on thinner paper so I pillow shade by default if I want to use my sketch markers. I stay away from graphite shading because it rubs against the sketchbook and gets smudged.

Been a long, long time since I've been in a drawthread.

Last time I remember, there were complaints that these threads were becoming too routine: everytime a thread died a new one was made. This burned out some people and shitposting increased, which in turn increased metafaggotry. To counter this, there was an agreement that only a drawfag will make a thread and whenever he felt like it.

After this, drawthreads just kind of became less frequent, and seeing visits from our usual drawfriends was more sporadic. Maybe this contributed to some sort of decline. Just my take.

These threads can't be made too often.
Of coarse this would happen, if the threads are unpredictable then the old draw fags would miss them and eventually just give up, and that some people need time to set up their shit and be ready.
What if we do what the Tewi fag does and only make a thread once a month every month on a specific date, time and posted by the same person? That could solve a few of these problems.

We would figure out a good date to make these from now on, some one responsible with making them on time, maybe have an official OP pic like what the Tewi fag does to make the thread stand out more and more recognizable on the catalog, and any thing else that needs discusion. You know, help make sure most people on Holla Forums can be on the same page with this. Also, if we do a meta thread on this all the rules and ideas can be summarized in one post at the end and then someone can screen cap the post and post it in the OP of future draw fag threads so that new fags will understand what's going on. I dunno, I'd like to hear what ye think of this plan.
