No joke, The Last Jedi is at least a 7/10 and attack of the clones is a 3/10 at best
No joke, The Last Jedi is at least a 7/10 and attack of the clones is a 3/10 at...
I said no joke so it’s not bait
Even the covers tell the tale.
AoTC is classical. Attractive people, a mysterious warrior, exotic craft and troopers in silhouette. And in the lower right, the two droid story tellers of Star Wars, the element present in all the films. The color scheme emphasizes Padme and Anakin, and highlghts their affection as the central point of the movie, but it also evokes sunset; a time of romance, but also a time when night begins. The Republican sun is setting, and a romantic couple watches it in tragedy.
Then look at TLJ. Luke glares out with a sinister look, while ugly people stare out in opposite directions from him. A highly airbrushed Carrie Fisher stares out sternly, her mouth half covered as though she’s sinister. The coloring draws attention to itself, as though you are just watching blood leak down a wall.
Everything about this poster is geared towards generating Youtube analysis before the movie release. Does this mean Luke is evil?? What are those red craft?? Is this the darkest Star Wars yet???? None of it has any tie in to the story, but is meant to fuel fan speculation youtubers who will dutifully make a video analyzing the poster.
Instead of making art to titilate and entice a passer by to be intrigued, it is the visual equivalent of a spoiler, meant to generate free advertising so that more people know the mew Star Wars is coming out.
The poster and OST are the only good things about attack of the clones
AotC is a good movie. It is beautiful in shots and locations and has as a weakness about twenty seconds of dialogue.
It's even worse than the force awakens
Pretending to be a retard is still being a retard, user.
I unironically like AOTC more than the OT.
No joke, both sucked and OP is a faggot.
I agree OP
Episode 2 has so many things done right I don't need to enumerate them.
My favorite testament of the film's quality is how it spawned the Clone Wars stories, including two cartoons, videogames and novels. A ton of stuff to be inmersed in while patiently waiting for the next movie.

Official Tier List
Star Wars: This movie is a classic retelling of the Hero's Journey. The film on a technical levels pushes the technology of its time to its limits, and while not particularly original, it manages to create a serviceable space opera that nevertheless feels unique. It borrows from the pulp fantasy and sci-fi of Lucas' youth along with what was around at the time of its release to create an experience which works not merely as the first film of a trilogy, but as a stand-alone film. There is no wasted dialogue, no unnecessary scenes - everything has a meaning to it. Even if the rest of Star Wars never existed, this film would still be enjoyable.
The Empire Strikes Back: The best film of the series in terms of writing, truly memorable scenes, and really opening the Star Wars universe out. It suffers only in its role as the middle film of the trilogy - without the first, it has no exposition; without the third, it has no conclusion. It continued to press the limits of what the tech could do, and looks very good. The actors are also better at their shit on average.
Return of the Jedi: The conclusion to the original trilogy. There are a number of aspects to this film that are quite weak, and its greater number of plot threads, plus the reuse of the Death Star and the presence of Ewoks, prevents it from being quite as grand. But honestly those aren't that bad and do bring up some cool shit so fuck you if you think that makes the movie bad. The scenes with Luke, Vader, and the Emperor are all amazing, but the rest aren't really as memorable. Fun to watch though, especially as part of a re-watch of the series.
Revenge of the Sith: The movie of memes. A B-Movie with the budget of a blockbuster. Strictly worse than the cartoon that aired before it was released. It has a lot of painful scenes but if you just skip those and get to the core of things (i.e. Palpatine or Obi-Wan are on screen) then its a fun watch.
The Phantom Menace: Now this is pod racing.
Actually Bad Tier
Attack of the Clones: Sand. The magical teleporting Obi-Wan. CGI that aged awfully, and just a really bad plot. The nonsense plot. There are redeeming qualities, but this is not a good movie.
The Last Jedi: This movie has no aspects of Star Wars to it. It's strictly worse than the EU it replaced, strictly worse than any of the original films, and can at best be said to be less painful to watch than AotC - and that's debatable. More than that, it's just boring. A bad movie can at least be entertaining - you can get glimpses of enjoyment in AotC. This movie has none of that. It is not good. It is hollow.
The Force Awakens: A shitty remake of the original film. People say this is just because it's trying to follow the same Hero's Journey, but it's not - it's a subversion, and a very bad one. It uses imagery from the original trilogy to get nostalgiabucks from redditfags and other soulless humans, and lots of loud sounds to draw in normalfags. But fuck, it's just awful. There are no entertaining characters, except one nameless Stormtrooper with a riot stick. This is the bottom of the barrel. If you like this movie you should probably just force your head down Daisy Ridley's gaping maw and die.
It's funny that it was Lucas living in his head rent free all this time.
muh sand dialogue xDDDD
It's a setup for the sand people slaughter scene and his feelings towards his past life as a slave.
This movie has no aspects of Star Wars to it
you're wrong it parallels the PT
It's strictly worse than the EU it replaced, strictly worse than any of the original films
bit redundant there but okay.
That video game is better than attack of the clones
Five star post. 👏
It was much better.
If you don't see this is starkino, I have failed you.
