Call of Duty in SPACE

No mecha? Still so infantry focused? Why? Cos it's CoD.

Because gigantic sized robots are cost inefficient and too complicated while still being less effective than tanks and combat aircrafts.

but they're also fun

This. Deal with it weeaboos

The game actually does feature mecha, and I would be surprised if at least one section didn't let you pilot one.

That being said, I'm still waiting for someone to do a game featuring jetpack infantry right, or even better, Starship Troopers.

...

The bounty hunters in giants citizen kabuto have jetpacks and it's a very fun game.
And if you can stomache a 50% shit 50% good Dark Void's jetpack is super cool and the non ground combat segments are very well done at times.

Retard.

Honestly, I want CoD to get out of this sci-fi streak already. It's supposed to be a totally inaccurate military-dudes shooter, not a parkour and jetpacks space-age shooter.

CoD has lost it's identity. Probably because they pandered to people who didn't like the games anyway. Probably because these people kept complaining, despite moderate changes, that it's "just rereleases" unless they changed the gameplay completely, since they didn't seem to understand the concept of a consistent gameplay model.

Ironically, some of these same people are all hyped up for Modern Warfare Remastered. Then again, at least that's Call of Duty.

Had COD not taken the yearly release route and instead was only a thing every 3-4 years that might not have happened.
