I've been on effexor, lithium, Risperidal, Clonazapam, serequel etc, and they all helped

For a while

Eventually as I came to understand my illness, the drugs were not controlling my emotions, they made me feel muted, and so I slowly came off them

I still suffer through all these things, but I understand them better and I try to not let them bother me

I still suffer from crippling depression (Always looking at things in ways I could hurt myself with them etc) but I am actually far better now given time/care from doctors and loved ones, not subconsciously crying all the time (I'd randomly break out crying buckets of tears, rarely I'd just start shaking and crying/sobbing but not feeling the emotions in either case) and life is better

I'm not saying life will get better soon, but don't give up, eventually you find something that makes life better for yourself

And if ffmpeg is not that easy for you to use you can just switch to one of the easier to use video editors, like xmedia or you could just pirate a copy of Adobe Premiere, which is what I use. The nice thing about Adobe Premiere is you can add a bunch of videos into a queue and encode them at anytime. You can just pause your encoding progress and continue later, xmedia for example does not support this.
