I get wanting to be part of something, but there's little reason to include it in their Musical unless you're part of 4/v/, which you aren't. Presumably. The other reason would be if you personally wanted notoriety.
It never was. It was always just a bunch of anons shitposting into microphones, but with a handful of people keeping track of it.
If Holla Forums wants to do their own thing, go for it, but it should be separate. Holla Forums behaves and handles things differently than Holla Forums.

Like I said, I'll post here first and foremost, especially since some of my ideas are very 8ch-specific. I'm just considering whether some of them would be worth putting out there instead.
I'd be fine with doing some singing, as I did sing in the "Holla Forums sings Sonic Boom" video we did a month or so ago. Still, we'd need some lyrics and more anons to sing, as well as an editor to sync up the sound files.

There's a reason this died out. The creative people are no longer taking part in it. The first and second ones had some nice songs, but after that, it was pure shit. The most grievous offense of the third musical was how the songs retained roughly 70% of the original lyrics. It was the laziest bullshit I'd ever seen. As others have said, I'd rather see this project die peacefully than have shit even worse than the third musical come out and tarnish the memory of the good stuff that came before even further.

I think people had high hopes that ours would be as big as halfchan's, but it never made sense to do so, since we have a fraction of their user count. Like you say, there were other issues. I tried. I worked on it pretty much the entire day but I just can't remove the vocals from this song. I have too little experience and she so frequently sings that the same pitch as the instruments I either end up leaving too much of the instruments or too much of her voice. I'm sorry to disappoint everyone.
On the plus side I've become good enough with the software that I should be able to make anyone in tune and in time. I can also apply some effects and (hopefully) make it sound closer to the original. As long as I'm not separating the vocals from an already made track I should be good.
