so who was the actual suspect? i didn't follow the las vegas stuff because i was asleep for the first half of it and didn't feel like reading 8 full threads to get context.

All real evidence points to Paddock being the shooter and being alone.

He had busted out two different windows of the casino in his suite, had a shitload of guns set up at each location, and moved between the two. So when he moves, he had a different sound profile and people thought it was two different shooters which was kind of his intent.

We should be looking more for motive because who he is, is pretty cut and dry.

People couldnt tell where the shots were coming from and that is generally the case when you open fire on people in a big open space surrounded by tall buildings. The gunshots echo and sound like they are coming from all angles. Its what happened at the clocktower shooting, I forget the actual name there where the guy shot a bunch of people from the top of a clocktower. Similarly to this event, many people didnt know there was a shooter at all, or where it was coming from. Many people came out of buildings and were shot, because they had no idea either. People kind of went about their business, and didnt react as you would expect. This resulted in a large increase in casualties.

Look up pictures of people from those places - sure a lot of them are quite swarthy (so are some Greeks/Italians/Spanish/Southern French), but they have lighter skinned people who to an untrained eye (or those used to mongrels like Americans) will appear 'white'. Blonde hair, blue eyes, pale skin. In Iran. In Afghanistan. In Turkey.

Whilst I largely agree that its current meaning is as you say - we shouldn't pretend that other groups are not 'white'. You see all the time how jews speak out 'on behalf of white people', and to the darkies - as well as most whites outside of us - they are taken at face value.
