This really is a terrible interview. Unless a better part was cut out later, I can't imagine why he doesn't just say something like "The liberal caricature of Trump's future acts as president are almost certainly a very unrealistic exaggeration, but regardless of their accuracy, the hysteria generated by reactions against Trump are very real, and portend the greatest political realignment in 50 years".

We already saw the Left take a vacation when Obomber was in power despite continuations of the worst of Bush-era policies.
