Rip multiplayer

rip multiplayer

It wasn't even that good anyway.

Bull-fucking-shit user. Was good and hard to git gud.
The series died after this one and the story died after revelation
and no, pirate simulator isn't an AC game

Too bad for all 8 people who played it

I visited Florence recently. I wonder how ubisoft could have possibly missed that the duomo is in fact higher than the campanile.

The multiplayer was shit, user. Artifact Assault was the best thing that happened to the game's multiplayer, and even then that's just capture the flag and a game of tag at the same time, with a bit of parkour thrown in. Smoke bomb was bullshit, hand gun was bullshit, throwing knives were the most annoying shit on the planet if you were trying to run the flag but you didn't get any help from your teammates, and teleport was the gayest shit on the planet.

When it was high level play it was incredible, the other entries never had the same feel to them.

I visited Florence recently, it reminded me how fucking much I hate mass tourism.

Everytime I won it was because I ran around like a headless retard killing any player I found regardless whether they were my target or not.
You didn't need skill to be good at this game.

This. Shit was imbalanced as fuck.

Thanks for letting us know to descartes your opinion.

Wanted was ezpz.

Congrats user.

The co-op mode was interesting but since it was part of the multiplayer, I always end up in a game where every one was rushing and killing everything instead of working as a team and playing for the objective to earn more points.

Revelations' multiplayer was okay, apart from the homogenizing of the attack moves. Although it had nothing on Brotherhood.
The others were all shit.

...

So you're saying were last place in every gamemode that wasn't Wanted?

You don't deserve those digits.

...

...

Honestly if you weren't scoring 5,000 points a round you're weren't playing high level.

Chill out bro it's just a reaction image.

Wanted existed so people like you could enjoy multiplayer and keep runners like you out of the other gamemodes. It's okay to be wrong.

So, how exactly do you play "high level" user? Oh, you mean you run around like a dipshit in pretty much every mode, toss knives at your target to bait his smoke bomb, then wait for it to dissipate before you rush in for a basic 100 point kill? If not that, then you do the exact same process but wait jump on some nearby architecture so you can get an aerial bonus plus the basic kill score while also avoiding the smoke's stun frames? Wow, incredible, so tactical and deep.

...

Just use poison nigger.

I won't imply it, I'll say outright that if you were running around in any other gamemode than wanted, you weren't scoring enough points to help your team win and probably were giving some juicy 1k kills to the enemy.

Hey, you can project all you want, faggot. Doesn't change the fact that this game was casual garbage.

user just stop.

Want to talk about it, son?

That game had such a great mp. I had that skill that turned all the people around me to look just like me, it confused the hell out of people. You could like turn a crowd into yourself and then sit all by yourself on a bench. People would go crazy on the crowd and you could just watch from a distance them hitting the wrong people. It was especially fun when were the top killer and got 2 or 3 people at your ass.

I want a fps game with a mod like that.

So, explain how high level play works, then. If you're so great at the game, and the game has such deep and intricately designed systems, and you understand those systems so incredibly well to the point that you're " one of the best of the best" then surely you can explain how I'm just an idiotic pleb who can't into high scores, right?

That's funny way of saying won constantly with highscores.

Hello newfag.

Ackutally i want to point out that i was "camping" as a AI, so slow walking and stopping to chat….tards where running around and I could simply kill them easily without being notice with poison or gun when they were distracted. No one actually was that autistic to see the slight hand gesture difference between you and the NPC.
I always had top 3 score even without running around

Could be worse, I want to do family history but my family is from the most dangerous, shitty state in italy.

campania?

This pretty much serves as a primer for how to improve.

Yep. Salerno area.

lel

Quoting you though, smoke bombs were fundamental to gameplay, I don't know why you wouldn't like them, and anyone who uses hidden guns were basically giving the game to the other team, 100 point kills lel.

The entire game is a unique take on Werewolf or Mafia and that's why it's a great since there isn't anything to compare it to. I'm not sure why you have to go full passive aggressive and pretend that I'm superior to you.

They actually need to work on the balance, I think it was Revelations or maybe aciii, but in one of them people would just camp on the rooftop, all of them on the same and they were all untouchable. If someone new would climb up the roof you would get instantly shot.

by the way, is there any good porn of that Courtesan or a nude patch or something like that?

And when you had multiple level 50s in a lobby and no runners, the game suddenly becomes fun. Like any multiplayer game, the quality of it depends on who you're playing with.

But are you IT, friend? Tell me horror stories of this area. I had a family member once stay in salerno and they fucking hated it, said they were even more rude than sicilians. She claimed Abruzzo was the most pleasant, as far as people go.

Damn that was good. Was nearly a Cold War game, slowly walking and paying attention to anything that move, not trusting any character that got too close….. Who would win would do it by a magre margin due to stall situations or fucking smashing the game for being gud

naaaa I'm from milano. Some part where basically a must to avoid if you wanted to keep the wheels under the car.

It's really shit but it would be fun if it didn't tell you the right target by having the right button prompt when nearby

I'll grant you that Brotherhood was probably the best in this series of games because it was more balanced. You could only have two active abilities at a time, so you had to choose between skills that could make a difference in your playstyle. Should I take poison for a high score kill, or should I take knives to use in conjunction with free running to chain bonuses together and force myself to play more aggressively? Should I take smoke so I can play defensively and starve my pursuers, or should I take mute to prevent others with the same idea from doing that to me? Of course, you could have multiple setups and switch between them on the fly in between deaths, but they were more balanced than in later games.

In Revelations they vastly improved the power of the smoke bomb and let you "craft" your abilities so that they're more powerful than the default, which is fucking stupid because it effectively renders those who use the basic skills at a disadvantage. The one good thing about revelations was that the maps were larger so you had more ground to cover, but this was offset by the aforementioned dipshits who ran around like morons and still managed to gain high scores.

ACIII was the worst of them all, they gave you a third ability you could use at any given time and removed more useful skills like Boost or Templar Vision and replaced them with fucking garbage. The end result is that the games after Brotherhood became progressively more and more unbalanced to the point that any strategy became a good strategy. The worst change was to the incognito meter, which in Brotherhood would slowly sink down as you began high profile movement. In later games, the meter would diminish when even when you're walking around slowly but not in cover. This killed your so called "high level play" by allowing runners to get even more points for their sloppy and aggressive playstyle.

In Brotherhood it wasn't so bad because of the limitations placed on players and that it was more balanced. ACR and ACIII ruined it. It's shit. However, this is just my complaints with the game, and has nothing to do with the fact that these games have always been casual tier garbage. There is a very low skill ceiling, it doesn't take much effort at all to git gud at these games. Once you know the layout of the maps, once you know the varied strategies that people employ, and once you know how to counter them, it becomes a basic game of rock-paper-scissors. High level play my ass.

Wew, with how industrialized some of milan is, I can believe it. Honestly, italy is far down on my list as far as "places I really want to go" are. I really want to see some austro hungarian architecture, but can't choose between prague, zagreb/slip, or Budapest. Family has told me the general culture of hungary is extremely pessimistic to the point of suicidal, so I'll take that one later, maybe.

My family have had their best yurop experiences in western slav countries, and oddly enough fucking macedonia. This may be because we haven't much money and you get far more bang for your buck in these lands.

But I ramble, excuse me.

I don't know why you brought in every other AC multiplayer to explain why you don't like Brotherhood when you could have just wrote this. I never implied that AC has chess tier level play or whatever depth you want out of AC:B to not talk shit about it. I'm saying that there has been nothing like it and probably never will for awhile. Knowing the map layouts and trying to predict your enemy's movements/tactics are, and having an opponent doing the same, is what makes any game good. If it wasn't good enough for you, what specific changes would you have wanted instead of what we got?

Ranked matches where nobody may use any abilities at all, and a point system that is designed to take into consideration the gameplay changes that this would entail. Larger maps via Revelations. Abilities add too much chaos. The only real skill there is in learning the game is the parkouring aspect. If you removed abilities, you'd be forced to be a "runner" but the game would drastically change because you'd either have to keep up in order to get your kills or get left behind.

In other words, because momentum and traversal are all this game's got going for it, it's all you've got to master, so the gameplay should focus more around that. I understand that not everyone would agree that this would be a beneficial or welcome change to the gameplay, but in my opinion it would be better than what is currently there.

Either this or somehow change how kills work in tandem with abilities. I don't claim to have all the answers.

Yeah, slavs are fucking suicidial since it's all fascist era buildings, worst are ex-yugo or all around Balkans

Italy isn't that bad, is just that you need to know where the scum neighbor is to avoid it. Quartoggiaro in milano, triburtina in Rome, peggiano in Turin, most of Naples apart of that is the best country in Europe if you aren into ancient history or Renaissance.
Sage for not vidya

I totally wrote off the multiplayer, I never tried it but now that it's offline, I wish I could have played it.

There has never been a good Assassin's Creed game

This multiplayer has been dead for ages.

I liked playing stealthily on the multiplayer. Couldn't ever enjoy myself to the fullest extent because most players rushed alot. Every now and then you'd get a fun stealth lobby though.

Revelations had potential to improve on the shit Brotherhood did in multiplayer and they certainly made an effort to do so but they somehow managed to make Revelations have even more trigger-happy retards than Brotherhood did.

Just play The Ship.
