Gun Wielding Lunatic Inquiries

Gun Sales Under Trump: Slump or Bump?
At some point during the last nine months, you might have seen a headline suggesting that gun-friendly President Donald Trump is bad for the firearms industry.
The theory is that a Republican president who supports gun rights lessens the urgency gun buyers feel to make new purchases, whereas under Democratic presidents, worries about potential restrictions help gun sellers do a brisk business.
But is the theory holding true?
Increasingly, no.
Firearms background checks monitored by the FBI hit an all-time high in August, at 1.9 million - providing the latest evidence that, far from being in a “Trump slump,” the gun industry is on its way to having the second- or third-best year for sales in two decades.
“A slump suggests that things are going down,” says Lawrence Keane, senior vice president and general counsel at the Newtown-based National Shooting Sports Foundation, the 13,000-member trade association for the firearms industry. “What we are seeing is a Trump bump.”
Nationwide, the gun industry is on pace to match or surpass record numbers set in 2015 - before fears of losing gun ownership rights peaked in 2016 and led to the biggest sales year the industry has ever seen.
An exception is Connecticut, which adopted one of the toughest gun-control postures in the country following the horrific shooting deaths of 20 first-graders and six educators at Sandy Hook School in 2012.
FBI statistics indicate that Connecticut is having one of the worst years for firearm sales since 2011, finishing at the bottom or near the bottom for each of the first eight months of 2017.
“Sales are not great,” says Bob Montlick, owner of Bob’s Gun Exchange in Darien for 60 years. “But we are okay - it’s not like we are struggling to make ends meet or anything.”
Across the nation, 2017 has posted some of the strongest months for firearms commerce since the National Instant Criminal Background Check System began in 1999.
May was a record month for background checks, for example. June and July each recorded the second-highest numbers in two decades, after highs in 2016.
So how did the story get perpetuated that Trump is bad for gun sales?
“Laziness,” says Rich Dupree, a New Jersey-based analyst. “There has been no real dropoff in demand for guns.”
From a historical perspective, Dupree is correct. Sales figures in the post-Sandy Hook era are double what they were in the last decade. Since 2013, gun sales have grown from $38 billion to $50 billion, and the industry employs 300,000 workers.
But from a short-term perspective, gun numbers are down compared 2016’s record year - and that’s where the theory about Trump being bad for guns got started, industry insiders said.
When the background check numbers for December 2016 came in under projections, observers looked at the November election of Trump and wondered whether the urgency to buy guns was relaxing.
The “Trump slump” theory picked up steam in the early months of 2017, because retailers who placed big orders before November in anticipation of a Hillary Clinton win found themselves overstocked.
The glut was reported not only by the media but by executives of publicly traded companies, including Southbury-based Sturm Ruger & Co.
“The election result was not what most people thought, so you didn’t have this politically driven spike in demand,” Keane said. “The industry had to provide incentives and promotions to move all of its inventory.”
As a result, while the industry expects to finish 2017 with strong sales, companies might not finish with strong profits, since so many of the sales have been discounted.
“Both Ruger and Smith & Wesson have pointed to the discounting as part of the reason why stocks are down,” Dupree said.

I already bought 4 guns and a bunch of ammo in case Hillary, now I don't have money while prices are dropping. I don't regret a thing.

It'll go right back up for 2020, basically any election.
Guns sales boost with the threat of leftists getting in power that want to ban them and make them more difficult to acquire.
Rifles I saw for 650-750 are now 400-500 dollars, as the fear of gun control has subsided.
If the wildcard threat of violence in the street appears, you can expect it to rise again.

yuropoor here;
If you could buy guns and had the money to do so then why wouldn't you buy all of the guns?
GOD BLESS AMERICA

If you are on a budget, buy the most advanced setup you can:

1. Literally any gun. Hi Point pistol, .22 rifle, and single shot shotgun can all be had for $100-120.

2. Bare-minimum infantryman. Reliable pistol, centerfire rifle, used or surplus soft armor

3. Average infrantry. Semi-automatic rifle, 10 magazines, level 3 plate, helmet.

4. Well-prepared. Night vision. 3000 rounds of rifle, 500 rounds of pistol. 30 spare rifle magazines.

5. Don't need, but nice to have. .300 win mag (or bigger) precision rifle. 1000 rounds of match-grade ammo. Backup pistol. Spare parts kits. 10,000 rounds rifle. 1000 rounds pistol.

6. Fun to have. .50 cal rifle. Thermal imaging. Level 4 armor, armor for extremities, bulletproof masl. Stockpiles of extra rifles and ammo. Caches.

LARP

7. An APC and a bunch of lunatic friends comrades.

Best setup, according to /k/:

- .22 LR rifle for plinking
- 9mm CC handgun for self-defense
- 1911 for home security + long-term storage
- 12 gauge shotgun for home security
- Any AR-15 in case of massive niggering
- .308 hunting rifle for anything
- .44 Mag Revolver of your choice (less parts, less chance to jam, preferably the sturdier, the better, this is the ONLY optional one, preferably for those indawoods in case of jamming and bear attack)

Reported. Get the fuck out.

If the latest gun show I went to is any indication… Budget ARs are now slightly under $400 and the market is now taking to pushing for more "addons" than actual firearms. There were more tables selling optics and other doodads than anything else.
If the import ban ever gets lifted, expect a wave of cheap slavshit again, amongst other things.

this should be reserved to "kill a kike/nig/spic throw away gun"
always, although get a knife and helmet dude, NVGs to boot.
go with level 4, will stop extreme rifle threats.
you DO know that is getting around 10 pounds?
what?
how about a fucking frag grenade? home made mortars? IEDs? there are more times you need some boom than to pop someone's head from 800 yards.
ok this is LARP.

it is LARP. he is a fake expert. no idea what he's saying.

AR15s are going 300-500. AKs are still overpriced.

I want cheap slavshit again

this would set me back at least $2000 including the CC license, which costs another $300 in my state.
hows a neet nigga supposed to get that kinda dollars

The Share Act would be a godsend right now if it were to pass. Everyone would want a 200 dollar tube of metal for most of their guns.

Fuck the NVG's. Leave that shit to the military. It's way overpriced for what it is and really only powerful when you have group cohesion. Going solo you'd be too paranoid about your 3, 6, and 9 to make them useful completely taking you out of your field of fire.

Go for a $100 Surefire instead with a red light filter. Red light to move tactically and the white luminosity that a halogen Surefire light provides will blind the shit out of anyone with or without NVG's.

all you really need is a zero'd rifle and a couple hundred rounds of the same type of ammunition since different brands and bullet types will shift your zero slightly. anything beyond that go ahead but at least have a rifle you can hit somebody with and your confident in knowing that. modern armies carry so much shit because they are a reactive force while the insurgents are the ones forcing their will onto them and dictating where and when combat takes place generally. fear the man who knows his rifle and how to think predatorily not the man who spends all day researching the latest greatest tactical bullshit.

Using a shotgun for home defense is retarded. Get a handgun and some fucking range time.

I've posted in order of importance. A .22 LR is more important than a CC handgun if you have no idea how guns work and need to get the first one to give you an idea how they work.

If you know the basics and/or can get a shooting range going to plink, just switch the 9mm CC for the .22. A CC is enough to stop 95% of the violent cases. As much as people love ARs, a 12 gauge is enough to scare any homebreaker.

You can't walk in the streets with an AR-15 in most states. A CC is at your hip, in your reach, whenever you carry it.

…which is why I said it is in order. The 1911 would be enough for 99% of cases. The shotgun would be only used for gang invasions, im talking about 5+ people.

Let me give you guys a better list. I'll base it on tiers so everything is clear.
Entry level AR (S&W and Ruger prebuilt or PSA kit) and 6 mags + 1 40 round mag, six loaded with either M193 or Mk262 or similar. Keep one mag loaded with soft point ammo. Use irons only. Avoid cheap glass because its useless. You don't need a pistol, so use that money to buy better gear like level IV plates, IFAK supplies, water purification, decent LBE/PC, 24hr pack, etc. Don't waste money on side plates because you'll be moving around. Speed is more important than armor at this stage. Total cost with weapons and supplies should be less than $800.
This will work fine for most people. Level IV plates with trauma backers, AK/AR depending on preference, decent red dot (Vortex SPARC series, PK-01, etc), and 8 mags of ammo. You still shouldn't get a pistol, but if you want one, buy a used gen 3/4 glock or some other poly 9mm. If you are a revolver fag, buy a cheap Ruger security six or similar. Keep the pistol cost under $400 and always load it with defensive or soft point ammo.
Same as mid-tier but with better optics and gear. If you upgrade the optics, be sure to practice using them. Spend some more on the pistol if you'd like.

I'll expand on some shit.
May not be necessary or desirable depending on what conditions you'll be facing. Cheap lvl IVs may become useless after a few strike while III and III+ will keep going.
NVGs aren't and you have to get the high end 3rd gens for it to be useful. When night falls, you stay put.
Frags can be improvised with pipe bombs, mortars will require a group and more technical knowledge to build and use. IEDs can vary depending on the required strength. Improvised booby traps can be made from pipe bombs, while MRAP/APC killers require ample amounts of high explosive.

How is a shotgun for home defense retarded? It's one of the most commonly if not the most commonly recommended home defense firearms. You should know where you are shooting of course. Unless you think a shotgun means 90° spray pattern

1911s are for enthusiasts and everything under the $700 mark is garbage.

wew lad.

more weight, more length, more recoil.

Its not so much retarded as it is antiquated. If you had nothing else, sure, but we have choice in the US. Its also not very good for clearing rooms since you can get overwhelmed with semi-auto fire quickly. Personally, I would go with an AR with fragmenting or HP ammo.

I can understand that it would be slower to wield but I still think a shotgun is a good option if you are comfortable with it.

I'm not imagining having to clear my own home of a half dozen targets. Maybe a few nogs that thought a home invasion is a good idea (it is never a good idea but it still happens in my area for some fucking reason)

Well if you plan on staying put, than a shotty would work. I just aim for having more flexibility in my weapons.

Oh I'm not against having other weapons, I'm thinking about home defense itself. I would rather keep a shotty as my first line near my bed than a handgun.

Enjoy your chewing toy, then. And your gang rape.

quality fuddposting m8.

Quite simpe, my e-groid friend! You simply DONDONUFFIN!

I've got a few rifles, a Mossberg 590A1, and three pistols. None of them eat the same food. An AR-15 and a 1911 can be purchased in pieces over time, and are pretty easy to assemble, but you should buy the upper receiver of an AR-15 with the barrel already torqued on. Almost lost an eye doing it myself when the Chinese bench vise I was using exploded and went through my safety glasses. It's funny, having blood run out of your nose from your EYE. Anywho, my shotgun rests standing upright at the side of my bed. My CC pistol rests in my car when I'm not out. My range queen pistol rests on my work desk (for soldering and such, not my desk at work) and one of my rifles is perched against my computer desk. The AR-15 and 1911 are out on loan to a coworker who has borrowed and returned my firearms in the past, with no scuffs or other idiot marks upon them.

i sold every thing but the k98 and the g23

This.
Not trying to rustle any jimmies, but I have experience shooting in houses, and shooting in "shoothouses". What I'm about to say is counter-intuitive but I have seen the proof. Pistol and shotgun projectiles overpenetrate in that enviroment, more so than an intermediate rifle round. You can get frangible rounds for the pistol, and back it down to #4 buck in the shotgun to prevent this, but in general that isn't what you would want. A decent basic bitch AR loaded with open tip match grade disentegrates before you kill a neighbor or family member (usually breaks up passing through 2 walls). The only new accessory I've used is 45° pop up irons for CQB when you are to close for a low mag optic. Screw the gucci shit, Get a rifle and get good.

What is important is getting more and more guns on the street.
Everyone reading this should go out and buy another semiautomatic handgun today and a sturdy canvass bag to carry them in.
A person can never have enough guns and ammunition.

I still want my goddamn national carry license Trump

God damn arms manufacturers must be creaming their pants at all this profit.

Everybody listen up. this drooling mong is trying to get you killed. Home defense is I fine bancing act between lethality/accuracy/over-penetration. You get something super accurate and powerful for cheap like a moist nugget and grandma two houses over may get her lungs blown out through her fridge because you had jamal creeping in your house at night. Guess what retard YOU'RE NOW LEGALLY A MURDERER. Shotguns are invaluable for home defense because they PERFECTLY BALANCE THE TIGHTROPE. You have A) great accuracy, since you can shoulder it. B) the stopping power of an angry god. and C) as long as you're not in an apartment or using slugs you're probably not going to injure any neighbors. Pistols are only good for any form of defense because they are small and portable. ANY SELF DEFENSE CLASS WOULD TEACH YOU THIS RETARD.
t./k/

So I've seen some really impressive displays of Chinkium steel quality over the years but that takes the cake. Isn't the barrel nut inly torqued to something like 30 foot pounds? How can a metal vise be so bad that it can't take that kind of force? I'm honestly impressed.

A lot needs to be done to abolish the draconian lefty gun laws in states like NY, CA and MD. Basically only niggers and MS-13 can have guns in those places.

How are 2A laws not a federal issue? It seems fucked up that some states can infringe on the The Bill of Rights like they do. And this shit about banning certain types, or non-reciprocal carry licensees is ridiculous. States rights are important, but not when the state is cucked to hell and back.

That's not fucking true. They just can't have any fun guns. say I had a bolt action hunting rifle chambered in .308 wm with an internal tube mag that could hold 3 (2+1 for you fucking pistol retards in this thread that I never even knew existed. You shit stains are a WHOLE new low to tacti-cool and I blame Keanu Reaves) that rifle is perfectly legal there. The irony is if you stood at the front of a pride parade and aimed for the guts instead of their sternum/skull you could probably injure quite a few in a row and reload decently quickly.

Call your senators and representatives.
>>>/k/497203

I did

oops. polite sage for double-post

I need to go back to bed. excuse me.

Sure, and a shotgun is supposedly ideal for home defense. I have one. It's heavy as fuck and not something most people could work with readily when they are half asleep and scared when they hear a pack of niggers breaking in. Citizens shouldn't be limited to WWI tech because some faggots in the state senate arbitrarily decide so, and then head out with their handgun armed security escort. Nobody in CA, NY, or MD voted for these restrictions, nor the exorbitant fees the state imposes for various licenses etc.

Alright maggot you very clearly expected a pump action to just rack with no lock so let me help you out here for home defense options

Notice any similarities between these manual of arms? They're all simple. Hell there are less steps in the side by side than 90% of home defense firearms. 99% of what you're proposing. You're a retard

I'm sorry user. I thought you were pistol faggot from before. I'm fucking my posts up terribly. I'll come back after a few cups of coffee

Just STFU you fucking cock gobbling asshat. A 4' long rifle or shotgun is unwieldy as fuck in most people's rooms. Apparently you like the idea of handguns being made all but impossible to own by legal citizens and prefer we all have flintlocks when the niggers have stolen semi-auto 9mm. Not sure what your point in shilling for gun restrictions is, but you sound like a fucking authoritarian kike. All of your posts have been completely retarded. Filtered for massive faggotry.

Then I'm sorry I just blew your head off with a nasty post. I didn't understand why someone would reply like that. No hard feelings.

I'm not against pistols at all. as I said before they're small and concealable so they are ideal for defense out and about. Honestly I want a national carry licence. However for HOME DEFENSE the SMARTEST, MOST EFFECTIVE, MOST LETHAL STRATEGY, is going to be a shotgun or a large caliber low velocity rifle like .300 BO

It's cool man. It's early, and /k/ has been dead-ish for awhile so I think we're all itching for a good ol' fashion gun debate.

Fuck you, federalist scum. How dare you wish to usurp state powers; even if I agree gun rights should be broad.

...

Thanks, I live in one of those cucked states and it really bugs me how they just impose these arbitrary restrictions, calling things like ARs "weapons of war" and banning possession of them. This shit gets me mad. In MD, you have to apply for a purchase permit, pay a fee, wait, take a mandatory 4 hour, $400 "safety course", wait up and over a year, then get mailed a "handgun purchase permit". Then you can buy overpriced, limited magazine handguns that you can't carry or transport unless you are verifiably going to or from a range or gun store, which are almost nonexistent. There's no open carry, and no concealed carry at all, unless you're friends with some government official. Meanwhile the niggers are killing each other at a record pace year after year. I'm thinking of switching residence to VA.

Jesus. Are you able to purchase AR pistols? Also what are your car laws like? in my state if you're 18 you can keep any loaded firearms in your vehicle you can afford. A few of those cars around here with the DTOM stickers really are mobile fucking munition stockpiles.
Are there mag limits on your hanguns?

Living around there as well, brother. This state is a fucking mess, too many goddamn people. Moving to WV or midwest is probably the only option.

What are the mag limits*

user it sounds stupid but coach guns and aoe weapons can save your life in those situations. Find firearms that are themselves loopholes just because of their classification.

10 round mags, you can have 30's but only buy them out of state

AR pistols would either fall under the extensive banned firearm list, or be restricted by the laborious and expensive handgun purchase permit I outlined. Any firearm can only be transported in the trunk of a car, with any ammo stored elsewhere, and only if you are traveling out of state, or to or from a gun range or store. I believe the universal mag limit is 10. There's some ridiculous banned feature list as well that includes flash hiders, adjustable / collapsible stocks, and bayonet mounts.

I bought a Rossi Circuit Judge .45 revolver because it's basically a long pistol. It's just barely legal here, light and fairly small, but only holds five. I overpaid for it, and it's not the greatest company, but it's literally the closest thing to a handgun I could acquire without going through all that shit.

gay, if you buy them out of state online can they be shipped to your house? If so I'm about to shill my lgs with its sick prices

circuit judge kicks ass and it's a shotgun too So you guys can't own any long guns at all???

That's what you get for buying Harbor Freight chink shit

No, shotguns and some rifles are allowed, but AR and AK are universally banned. As are any rifles with certain features. I like the Rossi, but it was $500 and too expensive for that crappy company. You can't have "illegal capacity" mags mailed to you. You have to buy them out of state. Not sure what the legality is of using them is though. I'm thinking of switching residency to VA to avoid dealing with the purchase restrictions. As far as I've read, you can own a handgun in MD if you are a resident of another state and bought it there. VA only allows free handgun purchase to state residents though. So I just become a resident of VA and say I only live in MD a few months of the year.

I'm also not a big fan of the 410ga. It's really dirty in that revolver. The .45s work fine though.

I am sorry user. I was just trying to be funny heheh.
God that state sounds like a gulag for freedom. You anons should come to tennessee, We have fairly cheap housing right now, and our gun laws are…mostly satisfactory, and we have castle doctrine. Also our factory job market is fairly lucrative for just a starting out job to get your feet under you.

I honestly can't blame you. Plus the .45 lc fits every criteria I was arguing pro-shotgun anyhow.

and our carry permit is just a carry permit, meaning open or concealed carry is at your personal digression

Get

It's like you're not even trying user

Why would you ever want that.

To go boom pretty fast I would guess

MD sounds worse than CA. We can have ARs here they're just heavily feature restricted. No pistol grip, no collapsible stock, no front grip, no flash suppressor, you have to disassemble the action to release a mag, etc etc. But we can still have them, though at this point it's more like the grandfather's hatchet thought experiment.
There is no open or concealed carry obviously, and I don't think there is SYG, castle law, or anything.

LOL found the democracy-cuck.

How do you faggots think Jews subvert? From the top down and bottom up, that's how. They either get the Fed govt to enact kike laws for all (Cohen Act), or if they fail at that they just go around and do it individually at the state level. Doesn't matter how it's done, as long as they get them all in the end.

No matter how it comes about, anti-kike legislation is a good thing. Stop thinking linearly. You should be thinking "does this help or hurt the kike agenda for the USA?". That's the only question that matters.

Pretty much.

Look into 80% lowers. I've made like 10 of them by now. Since they are mine and un-serialized, there is no way to tell when they were manufactured and thus no way to tell if it was purchased/acquired after the ban.

There are ways around laws if you are clever enough. Ways that are not in violation of the law. People in CA and MD do it all the time.

Yeah, all those AKs and AR variants are explicitly BANNED in MD. MP Sport, Saint, AR556 all illegal to own. As I said, I've got the 12ga, and the Rossi .45 and am going to change my residency and buy my handguns in VA.

Might look into this. I've never built an AR before. Are there specialized tools I need for such a thing? I think I have a few instructionals saved that tell me approximately what I need to buy. At some point I'll get a decent rifle, but as of now I'm more concerned with getting a semi auto and a revolver. The revolver is more for nostalgia.

I keep seeing random webms of this guy from time to time. Who is he and what is this video?

There are a few that'll make the job easier. But from my time building all my ARs the only thing I REALLY needed that was 'specialized' was an upper receiver vise block clamp. They're like $25. A standard torque wrench as well.

That's if you're assembling an upper. The lower receiver is the actual regulated part. You can have all the upper receiver parts shipped to your home without any fuss. If you are doing an 80% lower, there are companies that make kits (jigs, end mills, drill bits) and really detailed instructions on how to do it.

There are TONS of jewtube DIY videos on how to do them with everything from an actual milling machine —- to a shitty harbor freight router.

As far as mags are concerned. I'm sure evil criminals simply just find a gun store across state lines and buy them there, throw under the seat of their car, and drive back home. Beware that some (most?) magazine manufacturers have date stamps on the magazine body. Pics related.

Oh and there are polymer 80% lowers out there. I'd honestly stay away from those. I know people say they are fine — but If you want something you're potentially betting your life on —- 7075 aluminum is the way to go. 6061 aluminum could be used in a pinch, but the mil tried that in vietnam and learned their lesson. They switched back to 7075 T6 aluminum as originally intended.

theres an ar wrnech you can buy that will do everything you need to build an ar, but you can really build one with channel locks and a vice. of course, you dont have to build one from scratch if you dont want. you can buy a complete upper in all 50 states no problem since it isnt legally the weapon and just drop it, as well as a trigger group into your 80% and youre all set, no special tooling needed.

Fuck, forgot castle nut wrench…..

Look faggots, you're all asking the wrong questions.
This is the real question: When the fuck are we going to have federal approved Constitutional Carry, and legalize all firearms?

InRangeTV is doing a great AR parts testing series right now, you should follow their template.

Ewwww .40? What are you, gay?

you should tell voda consulting to refund your money m8.

Overpenetration is a favorite fudd topic. A niche concern for only a certain amount of people. If you got kids in the next room, yeah it's a concern. If you do not, then it's not that big of a deal.

IMO, if you're looking to waste motherfuckers with massive amounts of soft-tissue damage with limited potential, look into the Berger VLD series of projectiles. They basically dump ALL their energy and destructiveness within the first 4 inches upon penetrating soft tissue. If you're hopelessly neurotic about it even further, look into frangible. Although I'd never run it myself as home defense, NIH seems to think they're not so bad (for whatever that's worth): ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22724652

With either of those, you're fucked if you got people with body armor on.

G. Edward Griffin. Webm was taken from this lecture.

Yet you probably think the similar-but-thinner tokarev is just fine. Hipoints are the AKs of the pistol industry. Cheap but reliable.

Get a job.

Is this thread full of nofuns? The issue shotguns have for home defense is penetration, and even then that's mostly if you're a dumb nigger trying to use 12x70mm slugs in close quarters or bought a house/apartment with paper mache for walls.

YOU SHOULDN'T NEED A LICENSE IN THE FIRST PLACE
SECOND AMENDMENT NIGGER, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED

Do you spend your entire day eating and posting online? Do you have trouble lifting a gallon jug of milk? Sort yourself out, you fucking pussy. You clearly don't even have a modicum of strength. You'd probably screech about being handed a hipoint because it was "too heavy". The length of the gun is a real concern in close quarters if you're stuck in an apartment or shit (((modern))) tiny urban house, but "too heavy"?

Gee, I wonder why?
Feels bad man.

As much as I love to shit on .40 S&W dudes, it's a perfectly fine caliber for it's intended purpose.

Guns will always go up in price long term.

AK's are affordable/on sale recently, about 400-500 is the going with rebates.
As long as you are not a purist that has to have milled (not important) you can find them at reasonable prices.

This thread makes me miss /k/

Anyone that uses .40 should use 10mm. Period. .40 is a caliber made for gov't pussies who thought the 10mm had "too much" recoil, when in reality, it was only the wymmyns who couldn't handle it and asked for something closer to what a woman can handle, AKA, 9mm. Boom, .40 is born. A fucking caliber made for wussies who can't handle real stopping power.

The 10mm is perfect. It combines the stopping power of the .45 ACP and handles level II body armor perfectly well when made with a steelcore bullet.

You can shoot .40 in a 10mm so why wouldn't you get a 10mm?

This
If you're going to get a wide bullet, why not have the option to stop a charging bear?

The reason there's no cheap slavshit is the US gov is buying it all up and sending it to Syrian """moderate rebels"""

occrp.org/en/makingakilling/the-pentagon-is-spending-2-billion-on-soviet-style-arms-for-syrian-rebels

But 10mm is so expensive! and ammo is fucking expensive enough as it is.

Oh shit, son. When did 10mm come into parity? Was it .40S&W just getting more expensive?

As much as I love the option to nuke my target with a 10mm, if someone has a .40 it's no reason to throw it away. If you have the choice, 10mm is better.

Unless you're a poorfag and the option of cheaper ammo appeals to you more than the option of killing a bear —- seeing as how home bear invasion are pretty rare in the US. Niggers, on the other hand……….

I don't really care about internet bravado bullshit. .40cal will kill a nigger, spic, goatfucker, or a Jew just as well as 10mm. And since you're going to be killing lots of them, might as well take the cheaper option. Save your money for the gas chambers. I hear ACTUAL ones are pretty complicated and expensive to make.

TBH fam I chose a 9mm for that very reason. I saved money, got a high mag cap, and got a really nice looking gun that would make uncle Adolf proud

plus the peestol I chose can be converted to most any pistol cal round. I'm thinking about converting to .38 super for some range fun.

Nice Jewliminator. CZ, I believe?

I have 9mm and .45. A few years back I had a bit of cash to blow and I bought some USPs in 9mm and 45. God I love them. Run as good and are as dependable as my typical glock stuff, but do it with a little more style. My people really do make a nice firearm.

Does anyone know of a 10mm subcompact that isn't a fucking Glawk? Cuz that's the only reason I have a .40S&W.

not really

Negative. Tanfoglio witness. It's actually a clone of the danish m/39 believe it or not. It is the most accurate hand gun I have ever fired. How do USP's feel in the hand? They always look like they would feel funny to me, but i'm weird about hand ergonomics.

Read the filename

this compact comes in every caliber you want user

But will it fit in my ankle holster? My Px4 barely conceals under my looser pant legs and I don't even bother with anything tighter than a boot cut.

From what I understand, 10mm is a tricky round to make a gun for (I have no idea why). I know many people don't like to rock a glock because its not 'cool', but they do make a good dependable handgun.

Thanks. I got my wires crossed for a second. I thought tangfolio was a brand of holsters. Maybe I was thinking tangodown.

I honestly couldn't really tell you how the ergos of the USP are for you. I would suggest going to a rental range and paying to throw a few rounds downrange to get an idea. Personally, I find them very pleasing. The fact that I can have a double-stack 45 magazine with 12 rounds in a grip only slightly wider than a 1911 is nice for me. I love the 1911 (especially the trigger), but the USP gives me much more for my money.

I've also got bit by the 80% bug and have a few Polymer 80 P940c in 9mm (glock 19 clones) and soon will buy the P940V2 (glock 17 version). I will also be getting an 80% 1911 frame here to. There's a channel on YT called Mosin Virus that does some simply amazing things with 80% 1911s.

You're looking for an ankle-holster gun in 10mm? Whut? I'm not sure such a thing exists.

Well at least I was correct in my choice of backup piece. She kicks hard enough as is. Any more power and I'd worry about keeping her in my hands.

Negative, but please make a thread if you ever find something that retarded

oh lord, I'd forgotten about those retarded children. It was so obvious that they were given these neutered rifles, told to put their finger "here" aka trigger discipline, and march around like they knew wtf they were doing. It was completely obvious that none of these kids had ever held a firearm in their lives and they clearly didn't own or fire anything on display. I think a news crew tried to interview them and after a few very awkward sentences, they all ran away.

Did the gun industry do Vegas to cause more panic buying?

10mm glock 20 is no joke most people don't realize that it's a full size pistol I only carry it for hiking when foraging deep in the woods with hardcast lead bullets. It's a shitty everyday carry and home defense weapon, who wants to discharge 30,000+ psi round in a 12x15 room? You should have a shotgun or smaller caliber rifle for that. Bear load and hunting pistols should stay outdoors (they make a great winter carry) also hot ammo for 10mm is near a dollar a shot unless you want .40 spec loads which makes no sense.

Make sure your first rifle is something with flexibility I sunk ~950USD into a pistol and rifle (not including ammo/accessories) first time and they have no utility outside of hunting/target practice situations. Get something at least in 5.56 (pleb tier) and ideally rifleman caliber like a .308 in semi with a decent capacity.

Don't 10mm glocks blow up with hot 10mm loads?

not memeing, I though they couldn't take +P 10mm.

They don't blowup, but I have had extraction issues with the case getting stuck into the slide several times. Could be due to bad grip or weak spring, but the spring in this glock has the steel lip upgrade from the factory that was speculated to cause the issue. The ammo manufacturer I source from says it's fine, but at the range I've had several failures could be to my own incompetence though.

mine feels great in my hand, you should still see how it feels in yours before buying one though

Panic buy bump stocks. Apparently the shooter was using one of those.

Panic sell bump bonds…

Some poo made this

I you want a bump stock or a binary trigger, buy one now before they raise the price, or sell out.

Most sites have already sold out of most common bump stocks.

The reading of the meme is all messed up, there is no or so the sentence is incorrect and who the fuck is Peter?

ISIS took credit and I've seen little reason to discount their claim. Every other time they claimed something, their claim has been plausible.

...

It'd be hilarious if they ever do figure out that the "state" is actually trying to push their point of view. Though as Communists they probably wouldn't care and just become drunk on power trying to get in, like how the Chinese Communist Party is setup and how its always been over there in China.

...

That's it? GTFO you poorfag.

bump stocks are for niggers

...

yeah, they have their place. plus they're 'Merikan made and they have lifetime warranties.

How many levels of irony are you on?

local stores are already wiped out. I wish I stocked up more, $500 AR-15s, $5 boxes of ammo what the fuck was I thinking not buying more.

Looks like a good time to get out from under the couple of FNP45s I was dumb enough to buy.

one gunstore guy made it sound like a zerg rush yesterday, you'll probably get at least what you paid for them - likely more. Unless wherever your at is less likely to panic buy, around here the stores got massacred every time the word gun so much as passed the lips of obama or any liberal politician

I'd suggest to every to rush out and buy as many bump-stock mods as you can afford, once they are banned they will tripple in price.

This is typically what I recommend to people starting out.
The primary focus is on the adults having a handgun on their person at all times with the rifle being in a fall back position. Make carrying part of your lifestyle NOW: the learning curve after SHTF is too steep. I install the $30 police surplus rifle car mounts inside the house at the fall back position. I wired up the 12v hidden switch too. If we're not home, it goes into the legit safe
The .22 is mostly for keeping furry pests from destroying property/gardens. You could sub in a target 22lr pistol, or shotgun depending on your personal needs.

I've grown fond of pocket guns. Most are hard to shoot well, but you can take one with you almost everywhere (wearing scrubs, gym shorts, apron, coveralls, ect.). I recommend this for people who technically aren't allowed to carry at work, but still do. Even people in Venezuela still go to work…well some of them
